I know this is a HD post but i dared to venture into the local Lowes today and checked out their clearance section, as well as the clearance things they always set on top of their display areas. I was once again strong and didn't buy anything, but thought about getting those screws. The last 2 are of the same tool.

Went for the weekly home depot run today and they had their back doors open and i could see the Firestone tire plant next door, just thought this was a cool view. Those tires are a lot taller than me.

So I've have my DCF895C2 case since I got the thing a few years ago, and I've used it as sort of a "grab and go, do all". I managed to fit quite a lot in that little thing (I don't lug around the charger). But recently I decided to get a slightly larger case so I could carry more accessories with me, went with the rigid 22in pro tool box since the dewalt tough box is twice the price and my local HD no longer carries them. So just thought I'd post some pics, and ask for suggestions/advice on what else you/I should carry in this fancy new box! So if anyone has any favorite accessories I should add let me know! Here's my old setup. As you can see, it was packed. And yes the lid closed un-impeded. Weight 9.2 lbs. Here's my new one, lots more room. But a lot heavier, but with more protection. Also, it had a weird smell and I had to leave it open and outside for a day. Weight 21.8 lbs. Size comparison, the Rigid is almost twice as big.

Nice Hugh, this saw is still on my wish list. It might be there awhile though until i have a better reason than just wanting it lol!

whats the signal strength like on the blue tooth range, is it just the 30 foot standard? it says 100, but you know, lies and all that.

I don't see a whole lot of post about farm and fleet, but I think cause its mostly an upper Midwest chain. So if someone doesnt know, they carry milwaukee and dewalt power tools, but not as big of a selection as HD. But tonight i stopped by after work and saw some things on sale. I grabbed the dw2097 and dwax100ir bit sets for 10$ each on sale, which is the cheapest I've seen in awhile. Gonna try and replace the larger bit box in my "grab and go kit" so I can fit even more in there! Also saw these on sale, didn't grab them cause still trying to save money but someone else might want that deal

My Lowes has the occasional deals like we were talking about in the HD thread. The open box and discount tools are on top of the tool display shelves, and sometimes in the green racks in the middle of the isles.

Maybe, they were marked at 30$. I didn't try price checking

Stopped by my HD today to take a look, here's what i found. I didn't buy anything, because I'm trying to save for a house and keep telling myself i have strong willpower! YOU CAN DO IT!

The only 2 new saws I remember from the dewalt event were the miter and band saws. No new recip saw coming out, sorry

You made that vice super nice looking, like a show piece! lol. I always dream of finding good stuff at garage sales, unfortunately whenever I go to one it always junk. just box lids full of random old wrenches, no really hidden gems

DAMN plumber, thats some nice stuff. Those compressors, how are they? Super loud? Do they put out as much air as the box says? Which one is your more used, better one?
