  1. I have a bunch of their magnetic bowls and tray, sometimes you get coupons to make them like a dollar or something. I have a bunch of zip ties, and few grinder wheels, anything that I dont HAVE to have something super good on. My buddy has one of the big compressors, he looked online before he bought it and they recommended running a bunch of this cleaner stuff through it before use. HE did and got a bunch of metal shavings out, now its been running for 2 years no problem.
  2. Nice camera comp. I always wanted to get into asto photography a little bit and cameras like those are used a lot I think.
  3. Omg that deal is ridiculous. The one at my HD is only marked down like 15$.
  4. I haven't, it was never worth the 50$ to me to try it. Would be good for assembling things for my niece on Christmas.
  5. Mine is the same as back when I used to play Halo 1 at small LAN parties
  6. Hell yeah, that looks boss Mike. Are those dewalt pocket knives any good?
  7. Oh and its called the stihl construction hardhat system
  8. Looks like stihl has one that's a combo of both. I have one like yours (non stihl through) that doesn't have the helmet somewhere buried. Garage sale find I think.
  9. OK another face mask question, sorta related to Pro's suggestion. Is Mesh or solid face guard better. Solid being something more like this http://www.amazon.com/Sperian-Protection-S8500-Bionic-Shield/dp/B001VXXUWK/ the STIHL one looks super bad A though
  10. Understandable, I've never even heard of them until now. I tried to google reviews about them, only found a garage journal post and one yahoo answers.
  11. Looks like they actually are snap-on screw drivers. I googled it and the first hit was www.snaponindustrialbrands.com! good eye http://www.snaponindustrialbrands.com/Cat-20-1-216/phillips.htm
  12. I do have an ever growing wishlist I keep on amazon. Unfortunately I have to be "good" and not buy any of it until I get more space. What I want most is to break into the Milwaukee battery platform so I can grab a Super Hole Hawg, among others. I have the dewalt 20v line now (come on a release some more cool stuff dewalt!) I do want that cordless miter saw, the DCS361.
  13. Man I clicked into the sub Reddit at the bottom, and they're are a lot of stupid people. Ive only worked with one guy that was super stupid like these pics.
  14. Did you make that from a reciprocal blade?
  15. I just nabbed a TIA T-Shirt, hoodie maybe closer to winter for me. Can't wait till it gets here lol. Maybe it'll arrive in time for me to wear it to Import alliance in a few weeks.
  16. At work i convinced the boss man to go almost all LED. Got like 800$ worth of those bad boys. 60W dim-able I believe. Only issue we've had so far is that on a few of our dimmer the lights flicker at certain levels. That might be due to aging dimmer switches though.
  17. Related to this. My buddy was at HD yesterday and wanted one of the Milwaukee boxes pretty badly. He only could find 3 of the the lower sections and 1 complete display model. So he asked an employee, who responded that Milwaukee has discontinued them! WHAT! They are, like you said, no longer on the HD site. On the Milwaukee site when you click "shop online" it says "No sellers found for this product" in either the US or Canada. Everyone ive heard/read from thought these things were amazing, idk why they are discontinuing them (If that really is the case). Has anyone heard any official statements from Milwaukee? Maybe someone can call or email Milwaukee and get one! I'd be bummed if it were true cause I really wanted one when i get more space. I'll hold out hope that they are just temporarily gone to release an improved version lol.
  18. As someone who wasn't here from the beginning it always seemed weird that dewalt was separate, now it seems normal to me lol.
  19. I have Dewalt 20v now, and have cravings for the Milwaukee 18v/12v line. I wouldn't mind having each, I guess that put me in the "best overall manufacturer of said tool" group.
  20. From your user name i can only guess you're shopping in the US, so some of the German brand ones might be more expensive/harder to get your hands on. Those being brand like Knipex, Wera, and Wiha. All good brands and are making some slow headway into the US. The most popular US brand for electrical tools (even though some of the tools are made in china) is like you said, Klein. Kline is tried and true but unfortunately seems to be slow to innovate. I personally like what Milwaukee is starting to bring to the table, just the feel and look of it. Currently for insulated screw drivers they offer a 3/5/or 10 piece sets, starting at around 20$ for the 3 piece. I have no idea on their longevity, but they have some cool new things coming out all the time. Most of their non insulated electrical tools will preform more than one function, so you don't have to switch between tools as often. As far as WHERE to buy them, I pretty much exclusively shop on Amazon. Local Home Depot and Menards. Something like this might be a good starting point for you http://www.amazon.com/Wiha-32985-Insulated-Industrial-Drivers/dp/B007HGNUY8/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1435543236&sr=8-6&keywords=insulated+pliers
  21. Not sure, I would hope better. I would also like to see how the dewalt max-fit bits do. If there is enough interest it might be a fun day off thing to do sometime. Are there any other "new" bit that weren't covered in the article?
  22. Heres a look into my impact case. The spot where the bit boxes are is normally reserved for the charger. I use dewalt screw bits and porter cable drill bits. I try and keep it in a "ready to go" state, so I don't have to hunt around for pieces. Related to this subject I remembered this article from awhile ago, so re-linking here http://www.protoolreviews.com/tools/hardware-fasteners/review-bit-battle-are-impact-rated-bits-worth-the-money/6447/
  23. what are the little baskets your using to hold all your batteries?
