Apologies, Tx_woodworker. I was at HD today and checked out the display. The box shows the tool less shoe adjustment, but the display model has a hex bolt adjustment. Weird. My XRJ05 has a tool less adjustment, Makitas website says the same for the XRJ06. Actually, I would rather have the hex bolt. I have already had problems with the lever. Other than that ussue I love it.

That hex bolt you saw was not the shoe adjustment. It is tool less.

This is exciting for me. I am an ironworker a use a shear wrench often. Makita has a corded version which we have, https://www.makitatools.com/products/details/6922NB
The corded version runs about $1800.00 - $1900.00, I wonder what the price point will be on the cordless.
