  9. Here is a Coffee table I made with a concrete top. The base is just pine with pressure treated 4×4's as legs with cherry stain. I used a black dye to make the concrete darker then the normal gray. (I wanted it blacker but w/e) It's 4'×3' I want to seal it, but I'm not sure what to use yet. This is my first furniture build btw.
  10. Aww crap. OK well I'll try the heat gunot thanks.
  11. So I used lacquer to finish a coffee table top I built. It's 4'x 3, problem is I'm new to finishing and I did it outside today, and it was 30° outside I applied it. So now there is this white power stuff over the whole thing! Looks like I can scrape it off but, is there a better way to get rid of it?
  12. Idk I think I'm sold on this one. It looks very fast granted it went up against a porter cable
  13. @madman_us sorry I may have worded wrong. Glue is a big help with stopping squeaky floor and I was saying he wouldn't be able to use glue as part of a faster from underneath (unless he take a hammer to the ceilings) the boards.
  14. If its the second story floor you won't be able fasten the floor boards from underneath. But they make a screw with trim heads that you could use to fasten them from the top.if possible pre drill your hole and try to squeeze some glue down before you screw it.
  15. Ok but doesn't gorilla glue foam up? I guess if I clamp it up tight.
  16. Hey guys. It might be a stupid question, but I'm new to Furniture making and want to build a bookshelf out of Mdf using pocket screws. I want to use titebond 2 to glue the joint before screwing it, but I've never glued Mdf. Can I use normal wood glue on Mdf or should I use something else?
  17. "We kicked you guy's butt" hahaha hilarious!!
