  1. I think the more 'negative' reviews are from some time ago.  Makita was abit slow in releasing new tools and they were quite late in releasing batteries/tools  with anti deep discharging tech ( The number 1 way too kill your batteries, and henceforth the many " makita batteries suck" on the inet.  All brands had this problem really in the past).

That's all old news now tho :)

Last year was a great year for Makita i think.   Quite some king of the hill top end tools.    The Brushless hammer drill, angle grinder, circ saw, jig saw, impact driver, impact wrench, etc.... only see their equal in milwaukee most of the time.

But Makita has the fastest charge time in industry ( with all these high draw tools it could be a blessing ! ) and also the largest selection of 18V compatible tools giving you all the cordless options you ever want.

  2. Well somewhere in the near future the 18V 2.0 Ampts  ( BL1820 ) is going to be replaces by the BL1820B .  The B meaning the battery will have an onboard capacity indicator.

Could be the stock of BL1820's are gone in your country and that they are awaiting the newer type  BL1820B with capacity indicator.

    :)

    Shows the new vacuum.

It can run from AC or Dc.   On Ac is has thesame 1050 Watt engine altho the specifications show a higher suction power so maybe an improved design wich is more efficient?

On DC ( Dual 18 V Batteries ) the Suction is halved but almost double the suction power of the makita portable DCV350 vacuum so thats cool  =)

The power cord is detachable for when you want to run it on batteries

  4. I do nog know the dewalt or AEG tools but that dlx2000 set is an excellent combo to start with. Strong but compact drill. A very Nice impact.

Both brushless tools and a industrie fastest charging time. No doBtime because of battery charging.

Makita also had the largest 18 volt selection available so getting a cordless sds/ grinder/ etcc on thesame batteries is no problem at all :)
