Aha cool Glas you like it ^^ It does come with the dust thingy that you can attack to the tool right? This Black PVC thing that attaches to the side , and on it you can put the vacuum?
-
Do you already have the BL Makita jigsaw Chris ? I wasnt sure if you were still considering it or had already bought it
-
Yeah nothing too see at all except that there's one in the pipe for the future
Really hope any specs/info will start leaking on the internet soon ^^
-
I really like the Rotary attachment
-
Yeah we have that in belgium its a small folding bycicle. Takes 1 or 2 batteries. ^^
-
Crofty i know that Makita makes a 190 mm thinner saw blade specially for cordless circa saws. Maybe that could help

Well my eye caught this on a new tool flyer:

Seems to be a new and upcoming 36 Volt vacuum cleaner. A real one
Cant seem to find any info yet on the net
Time will tell us more ^^

In may this thing is coming out in belgium 1 more month for me !
-
Well the prices in belgium are here and they are absurd. The mower, 2 batteres and a charger will set you back 2000 euro's ><
I know belgium is expensive for tools but this price is reaaaaaally high
-
Yeah het a Makita rep involved they should be able to demo you a saw and throw in something free like a battery or so
-
Hahaha yeah bad marketing video if ever
But all manufacturers / tools have had their factory problems of course. thats what warranty is for =)
-
Yup !
Completly thesame tool on the inside. Just added the quick change a la fein
-
That' what i Thought Ner !
Needed confirmation on that one
-
Hmm we dont have the XRJ03 in Belgium. Still stuck with the DJR181.
Bischop, would you say that the newer XRJ03 has more power than the older type DJR181? ( or BJR181 )
-
Yeah i'm still checking my new tool deliveries daily for the first batteries with gauges on them No luck so far.
But it'll be months most likely I've got it conformed they are in production but like Ner said... they'll sell out the old stock before adding the batteries with gauges.
As for the multitool: Ner, have you ever tried the makita next to other brands, I compared it with the BL bosch and the Fein ( that was a 14 volt tho. Last year Fein didnt have an 18 volt. not sure if they do now ) and the Makita wins by a margin. The only thing bosch had more interesting was the system to lock the tool.
But for power / vibration and even runtime the makita won actually. ( quite strange since the Bosch was a BL motor )

Good to have you here Bishop ^^ I'm all about giving good Makita advice to the guys here but I cannot sell those american/canadian people anything from here in Belgium ... and that's where you come in

Well it will probably be months before current stock runs out and will be replaced w<ith the newer ones i'd guess. But as soon as I get one in my store i'll put a pic up
-
No reason was given to me up untill now my representative always said it was ` too expensive '. Bullshit explenation of course
Nothing on the bl recip ! Sorry ner

Well,
Today I got a new Keynote from my Makita representative in the store. The most interesting thing:
For those of you not speaking dutch ( Like everyone on here? =p )
Batteries with a Led capacity indicator are finally coming.
Here in belgium it's a 'silent' release which means no model number will change. No price on a tool will change. As soon as old stock of the tools are gone they will start shipping newer ones with the 'new' batteries.
Only a small icon on the outside of box can tell us if the 'newer' batteries will be included.
There's no time frame yet. All I know is that the batteries are in production and that I'll get them automatically in my store when old stock is gone.
I've already contacted Makita Belgium to see if there are any tools yet which have these batteries at this time. Want to take a pic

Both very decent and compatibel tools. Go for the best price/ free tool

That would be an awesome kit. 2 off the top performers in their category together

Only not so cool thing about the stihl is the max 15 minutes runtime. That blows a bit
