I hate those bulbs that have to warm up before they come on. It's really annoying.
Last week a bulb burned out in my garage so I got some outdoor CFL lights for my garage. They where dull for 2-3 minutes before brighting up and it was not real cold (only 40 degrees) imagine how long they will be dull and flicker when it is colder. ANNOYING! I took them back and got a couple Led bulbs from Home Depot. My Home Depot has some 800 lumen Phillips Led bulbs on sale. I first got two of these bulbs in the Daylight version for $4.97 each but while bright, the color (5000k) was too blue. I went back and got two more of these bulbs in the soft white version for $3.97 and a couple double bulb adapters for $2.47. The combination of the two color bulbs gave a nice bright 1600 lumen glow for only $11.41. Now the garage is much brighter than with the two 100 watt bulbs I had before. I went from 200 watts to 40 watts with the Leds, now lets see if my electric bill shows a savings.

The Makita Impact gold's are about twice the price of the Dewalt Maxfit bits @ HD I'll try the Mavfit bits first unless told otherwise.

Looking at Home Depot I see Dewalt MAXFIT bits are these the same as Dewalt flex torque?

This has probably been discussed here before but I did a few searches and didn't come up with anything definative.
I'm Looking for some phillips #2 hex bits. Who makes the best?

I use one of these. I got it at Harbor Freight for $3. It's plenty bright and works for me. I'm sure there are better/brighter LED work light out there too.
LED Work Light with rare earth magnets. Could be brighter.
My brother-in-law gifted me an EZ Red LED Portable Work Light.
These are supper bright for their size. 36 lumens. No magnet though.
There are coupons to get this light from HF for free.

I got a Spiderco Native from Walmart for less than $30 years ago (If I remember right it was only $18) it was my first of many Spiderco knifes. Even today this Spiderco Native is my favorite knife. I see it is now $60.

I got the M12 light figuring it would be a easy way to draw down my M12 battery packs. Ion batteries are best stored at a half charged state. The light was dull compared to a led light and the magnet was weak. I tried to attach it to the hood of the car to work on the engine and the magnet would not hold the light on. If I can't aim the light where I working it's useless to me. I took it back. Then got a LED light from Harbor Freight with a stronger magnet and better light for....Free!

I like the M12 compact batteries, they are the best thing about the M12 line. Have a couple 4.0 batteries but rarely use them. If I want extended power I grab my M18. But I'm sure if you do get the 4.0 batteries the D+2 weeks rule will come into effect.

Had Skil, Craftsman and a real cheap Black & Decker Drill I got for free after a rebate. The Skil & Craftsman are dead but the B&D is still going even though it takes 12 hours to charge and I have forgot and left it charging for 2+ days more than once.

Has to be my M12 Fuel drill. Almost as powerful as my M18 and more compact. Still searching for phillip bits to equal the quality of the drill.
