  1. My wifes grandparents needed some repairs so I got to make a quick trip to HD for some items today. Mostly things for paint prep and a few cans of Great Stuff spray foam.

My kids got their own HD aprons this morning as they had some of those kid classes going. My lil ones seemed really interested but we were in a hurry. At least I discovered another cool thing to do with them.

Fazz I've been meaning to take my boys to the workshop at the HD one of these days, looks like they would have a lot of fun with it.
  2. Hey Guys, what are you feeling for food on the Big Day?

Myself, the Bride and the kids are just laying low on Sunday to watch the game, so we are planning on picking some Buffallo Wild Wings, mabybe doing a little BBQ... And have a ton of snacks.... Keeping it simple since it's just us....

Hoping to hit on some boxes so I can buy some tools like last year... Lol

  3. Got another pair of Pipe Calipers from HeatingHelp.com (Great Site) the silver pair of calipers are the one I got today, measures 1/4" through 12" Iron Pipe and 3/8" through 6" Copper Tube/pipe.

The Black set Of Calipers I have had for many years and measures 1/8" IPS all the way up too 16" IPS.

If your in the Pipe Trades these Calipers are the ones too have. Good Stuf....

  4. MikeyB, did you get the porter cable Palm nailer because of a space issue or just better control. Just being curious, you just see some people use them all,the time then there are others that never use them. Thanks, John.

John, I actually picked it up a bunch of years back due to me wanting to install a deck in my backyard (and being part of the POrter Cable fan club) is and a buddy told me about using a pneumatic Palm nailer for the joist hangers. So I picked it up and only used it for the first time a couple of months ago for installing joist hangers to recess a header for my living room, I couldn't believe how powerful and useful the tool was.. I love that nailer. Hoping to use it more in the future,
