  1. Looking to see if there are any specs on the makita XBUO2 36 volt blower while running on 6.0 AH batteries. i have noticed the price has dropped on this blower on a couple of sites too $219.00 for bare tool. When powered by (2) 5.0 ah batteries it claims to have 29 minutes of runtime on setting #3 and would spin at 15,800 rpms on this setting. Im curious to know if anyone knows what the runtime would be on the highest setting with (2) 6.0 ah batteries? Would like to compare to other blowers. thanks guys
  2. Me as well, I'm afraid to know what will happen after my first tough box purchase. Lol
  3. Chris, can you post a pick of your systainers when you get the chance?
  4. I use this Dewalt organizer for my Palode 16g angled finish nails. Works out real nice. I also use a Milwaukee organizer for my 18 gauge angled finish nails for my Porter Cable pneumatic nail gun. The Milwaukee works better for these nails due to the bigger bins.
  5. Im a little surprised it's not being sold with the new 6AH battery? Lol
  6. Im with you on that Justin. For my electrical hand tools i am mostly on the Klien side, but I have to explore a little more with KC tool and pick up some other brands.
  7. Love it Josh, I'm going to order up some Kaizn foam today,
  8. Jimbo, I might be wrong but I think every case is labled with a small white label?
  9. Edit: while recharging the batteries this morning the charger does actually show the red & green led's when greater than 80% and the solid green when fully charged. i guess I didn't leave the batteries on long enough to show this status after the battery fuel gauge read full charge
  10. I like those demo screwdrivers, I have 2 of the Kliens and like them a lot.
  11. Thanks, the strange this is that when the battery had 4 LED's showing the red light remained on the whole time, when it should be showing greater than 80% or fully charged.
  12. Thanks Josh, I was hoping another member was doing the same as me. The last thing I want to do is buy another charger...
  13. Charging up these new Makita 6.0AH batteries today and I noticed that when I charged them on my Makita DC18RC Fast Charger that the red indicator light on the charger stays on indicating the battery is low on charge but as the battery is charging the LEDs on the battery itself say that it's charging up to the 4 bars (as I check them during charging). I also tried charging the batteries on an older Makita DC18SC High capacity battery charger and had the same result. On the new 6ah battery is says to use the DC18R/S charger. So I think I'm in good shape. Does anyone know if it's normal when charging a Makita battery with the battery fuel gauge for the charger to show low battery level during the entire charging time? Thanks
  14. Love it man, very clean and neat.

  17. Couple of my orders came in. From Deluth Trading I picked up a fire log carrier (awesome) and a face mask for snow blowing duty. And I scored (2) Makita 6AH 18V batteries from EBay for $185.00 for both. Thought that was a good price.
  18. I'm kinda fond of the ones my landscaper use... Lol
  19. Nice set of tools bro, best of luck with your future.
  20. Kruton, what do you think of the back pack blower, and what kind of battery did you get with it?

  22. That's pretty scary. That's another reason to Always test the circuits for power.
