  1. Those caulk savers look great. A little Plumbers putty in a tube of caulking works great as well.
  2. Thanks Jimbo, if I could only figure out how to load a video I would post it. Comp and Eric have been helping me out but I can't seem to get it done. Ill keep working it on it. its a pretty powerful machine man.
  3. Love it man. I can't wait to work on splitting some fresh oak that my neighbors friend is going to drop off for us. Good stuff
  4. Todd, I have been back and forth between a hydraulic electric and a kinetic 10 ton fly wheel for a while, i posted a thread on TIA a couple of weeks ago about buying an electric splitter and The Conductor mentioned the Boss electric spliters. I called Log Splitters Direct and the women on the phone convinced me that the Boss 7 ton was the way to go. Log Splitters are a great company to deal with and I wrote up a review on their website today about them. i do not have any experience at all with gas or electric log splitters, I just felt I needed one for my needs and I am glad that I picked up, the Boss 7 ton...
  5. That's a great stack of lumber you got there bro. Im splitting seasoned oak, maple and a little of ash. Had a seasoned cord delivered last week. My neighbor and I split the full cord. $100.00 each. no cars in my garage, no worries about any firewood being thrown into anything of worry. This machine is fantastic. I'm glad I went with the 7 ton instead of the 5 ton. I split some freshly cut 11" thick oak today and the machine didn't flinch. Money well spent!
  6. Ordered on Monday delivered on Thursday, splitting some firewood for today's activities. What a great little machine this is.
  7. I got a 25 HD card from the in laws and I hoping my wife hooks me up solid with a nice gift card as well Im looking to use them toward the new Ego cordless blower or back pack blower. Not sure which one yet. I wish they sold the handheld blower with the 5ah battery.
  8. Thanks Comp, I know this might sound dumb but I don't see a share button anywhere.
  9. Once Hilti moved out of the HD Milwaukee came in like a freight train......
  10. Its labled as Makita 36V chainsaw. I was able to open that link yesterday but today it says error. Thanks Comp
  11. Let me know if you can view the video thanks
  12. I have the same one, love it. And for $20.00i might pick up another one

    Home Depot

Saw the same at my depot today. That Echo is a bit heavier than the Ego without the batteries. i don't think the Echo would be a good choice for me for blowing leaves out of my gutted on the roof.
  16. It would be nice if tool companies gave you the option to buy the tools with blow mold, fabric bagels/totes, or no case at all and knock the price off for not buying a case. You could probably save a ton of money buying Hilti tools without the case. I remember about 15 years ago when Hilti had a section in the depot they sold the regular size case for like $90.00. Thats a crazy amount of cash for a cheap ass case , IMO

    New saw?

I have The Makita 36 volt , 71/4" circular saw. Takes (2) 18 volt batteries . Maybe they were thinking of Makita and not Milwaukee?
  18. Thanks Eric. I click on the share link (kinda looks like a paper airplane) and it then says CopyURL, I click that to copy it and try to paste on my TIA post under the Insert other media button but it doesn't take.
  19. I have you to thank for the Boss recommendation Conductor. I was torn between the Generac 10 ton kinetic and the Boss 7 ton. I called Log Splitters Direct.com today and the lady gave me the low down and I explanind to her what my needs for an electric log spliter was and her reply was......BOSS,BOSS, BOSS. She said they have a great product line and fantastic customer service. I felt she did me a solid because if you spoke to any other salesperson they would try to sell you the more expensive product. I had a great tool buying experience today.... Great company to buy from....
  20. Decided to pull the trigger on a Boss 7 Ton electric log splitter today. Also ordered the 4 way splitter atatchement for it as well
