  1. I just received a bunch of these XBU02Z Blowers today. This tool is a BEAST! I am very impressed with what this blower can do. It is well worth the money spent if you need a blower.
  2. As for the XSH03Z saw... @toolpig on Instagram posted a nice video clip comparing the old brushed model to the new Brushless model here: https://instagram.com/p/1djlb3ux0d/ We set a new permanent price of $179.95 just fyi
  3. No that is not me pictured, I took the photos from Makita. I should have the next shipment in by Friday.
  4. Just released this week. This trimmer is pretty beefy!
  5. The metal wishbone part became available as a factory fix about 1 year ago.
  6. I'm a little late for this reply but... It's not the exact same tool on the inside. The older LXMT02Z had a plastic wishbone in the head, it has been replaced by a much stronger metal wishbone in the XMT03Z. 90% of the repairs we have had to do on the LXMT02Z Multi-Tool was because of a broken wishbone. They have fixed this problem now, I haven't had a single XMT03Z come back for repairs yet.
  7. Makita USA introduced the BL1820 last year in the new CT200RW kits. The stock of BL1820 batteries that they had for these kits were set at too low of an initial charge for long term storage and when the kits wound up in the hands of the end user the charger failed to recognize the battery as functioning and would not charge the battery. About 5-8% of the batteries were considered defective because of this and all batteries were recalled from the dealers. Makita has reintroduced the BL1815N battery as a temporary fix until they can manufacture more BL1820 batteries. The BL1815N has about 12% more run-time over the old BL1815 battery and will fit in tools with a yellow or black battery connection plate with a star symbol.
  8. I'm an authorized Bosch dealer as well and I will be expanding my inventory with more Bosch in a couple of months.
  9. The XRU07Z String Trimmer will be here next week.
  10. This tool will be released in the USA in about 5-6 weeks, the week of May 25.
  11. Maybe I can help, I'm a Makita dealer in Florida. Where are you located?
  12. I saw it at Las Vegas a couple of months ago during the World of Concrete expo. I didn't take any pictures. Once I find out more info, I'll let you know.
  13. As far as I can tell from Makita's listed specs, they have the same power. I don't stock the BJR181 / XRJ02Z because it is so much more expensive and there isn't any demand for that model. IMO, they should just discontinue it.
  14. The newest model Recip Saw is the XRJ03Z, and the BL1850 5.0Ah batteries really help. The Brushless Recip saw is not yet available. I have seen a prototype already, but we have not been told of a release date. I'm 99% sure that you cannot use the new BL1850 batteries on that older model saw and so that limits the runtime as well. If you want to trade in the BJR181 that you have for a new XRJ03Z, then I can offer you half price on the new model. Please keep in mind that the XRJ03Z does not have the LED light. Edits: Typos.
  15. If it were made of real gold, then it would be the ghost of all jobsites! The XDT09Z is Makita's newest Impact. It is also the quickest, strongest and smallest. It is a Slim Brushless Impact with 3-speeds and Quick-Shift Mode. Here is the size different between the XDT09Z and the XDT01Z. For prices, just PM me.
  16. Sure, we are open M-F 7-5 and Saturday 10-2 central, 850.215.4090 I've been trying to get in stock the limited edition 100th anniversary Gold XDT09Z but so far, no luck.
  17. Hello, I saw I was mentioned in this thread. We have been selling the XCU02Z for $199 for a few months now, you could have gotten it earlier! It's a great tool. I just used it to cut down a few trees behind the warehouse last week. I tried to take a video but it turned out all blurry. Just to let you know, Makita is releasing a new Brushless 36V (18V x2) Blower, XBU02Z and a new Brushless 36v (18V x2) String Trimmer with 1,200 more RPM than the XRU04Z trimmer next month. I will have them just as soon as the first shipments leave the warehouse. If you have any questions about Makita tools, let me know!
