  2. I am blown away by the support of the TIACREW! Honestly, when I saw Glasseyi's donation and ChrisK's posts, I broke out in tears. You all are the greatest.  Before this year, I really have never had to experience a death in my family.  This year, I have been to funerals for Sabrena's Mother, My Uncle, My Brothers Wife, and now my Father.

This has been a real tough year, with my own health, and my back issues.  Worrying about losing my job, because of many management changes, my vehicle being just about ready for the scrap yard, and not able to afford a replacement at this time.

It's so awesome, that folks like you all come together to help out.  I believe in karma, and I always do my best to pay it forward, and help out when I can. We always donate stuff, we don't use anymore to Goodwill.  I am the type of person, that would give my last dollar to help out my fellow man.

I consistently volunteer at work, for food drives for the homeless, toys for tots, coats for kids, and other charities. Like I said, I believe in karma, and what comes around, goes around.  And the folks here at TIA, are living proof of it.

I am not the best at expressing my feelings, but I hope the words I wrote, expresses how much I appreciate the folks here at TIA,and what you have done, to help out in these tough times for me and my family.

    God Bless,

  3. Good Day Crew!

I want to put out a feeler, if anyone would be interested in buying the DeWalt DCN660 w/ a 5.0 Battery and Charger that I received has member of the month here at TIA. I have only ran about 100 nails through it, to test it out.

I really hate that I may have to part with this, however, my go-fund-me campaign is not working.

Like they say, when it rains, it pours, has I also had to buy 2 "used" front tires for the family truckster, and I don't think it will last much longer. It has over 200,000 miles on it.

I can't wait until 2016 is over, this has been the worst year for me and my family.  I always keep my head up, and look to the positive vibes.

Taking some Tommy's jerky along? ?

Na, the local butcher has the BEST jerky on the planet!!! Not to mention their beef sticks.  They don't do "on-line", in fact they don't even take Credit Cards.  I ended up buying a few pounds of Jerky and Beef sticks.  Another thing is the price, it's only $15 a pound for Jerky, and $10 a pound for beef sticks, you will not find a cheaper price anywhere, especially for their quality.

  6. Good Day Crew!

I really hate to ask for help, but I am a little short on funds due to my father funeral.  I set up a "go fund me page" to help out if you are able to.

I feel really bad, having to ask for help, I sold off a few things I was not using anymore, and a couple things that I used all the time.

I will be happy to send a PM of the "book of memories" from the funeral home, just don't want to post it publicly.

  7. Yes, The DeWalt OMT does have an easy to use adapter. I will also add, that one can buy a S*** ton of OMT blades for either style, for next to nothing on Amazon and E-bay. And yes, they are a decent quality, actually surprisingly good quality.

  8. UPDATE:

The playing of taps by the lone bugler, had everyone in tears, has you can expect.  Many thanks to all the veterans that volunteered their time, there was a few Korean War veterans also.  Our family has always been really close, I have 5 brothers and a sister, I am the youngest of them all. In true Italian fashion, we had a huge spread of food, and we all spent time talking about all the great times, into the early morning.  A few of us, including me, were up to the morning sunrise.

I really appreciate all the kind words, prayers, and support.

  9. Good Day Crew!

Update: Thought I would check in. First off, although a sad occasion, it's been a wonderful reunion. Family has come from all over the great place we call Earth. Us Italians know how to put out a spread of food. I have not seen my once close family in over 13 years. Now for some good news, my Mother, is looking strong, and she is taking the loss of her life long partner well. They were High Sweethearts. My father was 83 years old.

The viewing will be on Monday, and the Funeral will be on Tuesday.  He will be buried with full military honors, has he fought for our great country of the USA, in the Korean War, flying the Great B-36 Peacemaker.

Has most of you will remember, the wife's mother passed away a few months ago.  Well, I just received news from back home, the my fathers health took a turn for the worse.  I need to scrape together some cash, so I make the journey back home, and hopefully see him before he passes away. I have not been back in about 8 years. It's been a rough year, has I also lost an uncle (on my fathers side), and a sister-in-law (brothers wife).
