So speaking of such my wife just saw this post, she loves that, we actually used that reading in our wedding.  Is that a sticker or free hand? Of course she wants one now!

It's a sticker, she is on a "Dollar" store craft adventure.  So cool to hear that you folks used that reading. I am hoping she will attempt to take it to the next level, and try using the Scroll Saw. Just hope I didn't open a can of worms, and she starts decorating my Workshop LOL.

    No problem.

So the delta table saw has an incredibly thin throat plate. I purchased the fast cap zero clearance tape a while ago for the miter saw and it works great. I decided to try it on the table saw since the throat plate was never completely level with the table anyways. It works like a charm. Now I have a zero clearance insert. I rarely bevel so it shouldn't be an issue.

Right On, looks good!  FastCap Screwed me over, with false advertising, and wanting me to purchase all kinds of add-ons on a product I purchased. I have no negative feelings with them anymore, I just won't purchase any of their products.

Figured I am going to be doing a few of these coming up and putting them into one thread might be a better idea.

So far to upgrade the shop...I mean garage I have built the flip top table stand and a clamp rack. The next projects is more storage, this time for the table saw. I got the idea from Ryan at shop built on YouTube. He built a storage unit into the wing of the table saw. This solves a lot of problems and keeps the necessary tools and accessories close by. Need to get to the gym today so I was only able to get all of the pieces rough cut except for the bottom.

The plan right now is to put it to the right of the steel extension wing. I'm hoping it won't be too much weight for the bars. I will need to drill a few more holes into the steel I believe. 467b71b676173586ebc390dad3cc1f0a.jpg

Thanks for sharing, just getting caught up on all the posts.  Love seeing shop made projects.

  4. Oh No!!! Me SweetieBear has invaded the WigWag Workshop! Honestly, though, I love having her spending time in the workshop with me.  She has some sweet inspiration, and with me getting Riff'd, it's a comfy feeling.

Right On!  You been kicking some serious ass on your YouTube Channel, and Instagram.  I try to comment as much has I can, but I been watching a lot of YT vids on the AppleTV, and Google has decided not to give an option to leave comments using the AppleTV.

I'm really sorry to hear that.  I've been in tech for 20 years and have seen my share of RIFs.  A couple of years ago, I was "offered" the opportunity to pick up and move to a different city for a possibly worse position.  I was lucky and found another job locally without too much drama, but I can totally sympathize.

I’m also in technology, 20+ years

  10. Good Day Crew!

Hope all has been well! I know I have not been posting has much lately, and for that I apologize.  It was a pretty awesome summer, spent a lot of time with my Grandson, doing Pappy/Grandson stuff.I did have some more surgery on my back, so I was down for a couple months recovering.

I did save up for a few new toys for the workshop, and I am working on an updated shop tour video.

NOW, for the sad news, I was just informed that after 15 years of being dedicated to my employer, I was put on the chopping block.  I can't go into details at this point, so I will leave it here for now.

I am a postive person, and I believe when one door is slammed shut, doors to a better path are open.

I look forward to being back has an active member of the TIACREW community, and hanging out with y'all here on the forums.

I like really dry jerky that shreds into delicious strands. I used to have a source years ago of the perfect jerky and haven't found anything that's half as good since.

That is the style of jerky I enjoy most also. Guess that's why I dislike 99% of store bought bag jerky, it's way too moist
