Draft day's right around the corner for us, got a week to prepare. Hope nobody else gets injured. Jordy Nelson was one of my main guys last year, now lets see how high Randall Cobb goes.
Was just curious, I see these blades at the local Sears and I know that Bosch makes some good drill bits. I figure the blades are of the same quality but I thought I'd ask the pros. Any feedback would be great!
If I ever needed that much power though, that Makita or the FUEL would be the ones I would go after. I personally prefer compact 18v's since I do mostly woodworking and not major construction or anything.
Pretty impressive, Makita is definitely putting it's best foot forward and finally taking Brushless seriously now. I think they learned from their first gen Drill Driver that ended up smoking for some folks! But they have definitely come a long way since then and as it seems is head and shoulders above the rest when it comes to impact drivers. It would be interesting to see them side by side in an endurance test. I remember Dan and Eric put the Gen 1 FUEL up against the DeWalt brushless a couple years back and the FUEL started out really strong driving the lags in faster but in the end it actually ended up slowing down and ended up just about tied with the Dewalt on lags driven.
If only all tool manufacturers would allow us to choose our colors we could mix and match manufacturers and still be color coded. In a perfect world...
Nice shot, could've just been the angle of the vid. Both are super compact and would make anyone happy! I've always liked Makita's fit and finish on their impacts. Lovin' that FUEL too.
Congrats on the purchase! Let us know how it goes, I had thought about getting that same saw, just waiting to hear more on it and also I gotta try to find more things to keep me busy using one so I can justify a purchase.
