  1. It all depends on how much you want to spend. You could go as low as $40 with Harbor Freight's 3 gallon pancake which would do the job. I have the Porter Cable 6 gallon pancake with a 0.8 HP motor that you can find on sale for about $100. It fills up fast and can run a finish nailer all day long but it is loud! I mean loud! I know there are other higher priced options but it sounds like you could get by with something under $100.
  2. That's a sweet saw. I always wanted a cordless miter saw. I've seen that Milwaukee has one but only overseas. I'm waiting for when they bring it here to the states.
  3. I'm glad you see it that way. I got a bit of everything and I'm fine with it but I can't believe some of the crazy YouTube comments/videos I see sometimes where people just straight out bash other companies.
  4. Not at all, Bosch makes quality stuff when they do make stuff
  5. I think the V18's were their intro to lithium and a lot of people had issues. But to be fair, a lot of companies had problems with lithium batteries in the early days.
  6. Agreed...the m12/m18 packs are here to stay. The tools however...always getting an upgrade. The only thing changing about the batteries I see is higher amp hour ratings and better engineering in the future.
  7. Can't get enough tool porn guys! What's wrong with me!?
  8. It is true, I had the m18 hackzall for awhile and I used it on anything from pruning to cutting 4 x 4's and it did great. It excelled at pruning since you can operate it with one hand
  9. Not at all, I think there's an app for that LOL
  10. That's a good looking fence. Mine's all falling apart, still trying to come up with the funds to fix/replace it. Like the Kreg jig idea, used that one on my side gate.
  11. That's a seriously cool yard and some awesome looking benches! Nice job!
  12. I would go with the kit, only because of the extra battery though. You can sell that with the charger and probably end up paying the same thing only you'll have an extra battery. I don't find saws and grinder kits having a good value since you'll pay about $100 more and only get one battery and charger as opposed to drills and drivers where you get 2 batteries and a charger for equal or less.
  13. Oh yeah, the 9.0 battery would be awesome too for my 2630!
  14. I hear their stuff is amazing! I wouldn't mind getting my hands on some Festool!
  15. The Bosch is a beauty. The table saw reminds me that I could use an upgrade...
  16. As a fellow tool junkie I know that our wish list can get pretty insane. Here's my #1 spot... What's on your list???
  17. You can never have enough tape measures! I have my Milwaukee 25ft go to but it sometimes likes to go on long walks by itself without giving me a heads up. I'm looking to add another one or two soon!
  18. Milwaukee got some sexy tape measures! I got the 25ft but who ever has enough tape measures?
  19. Nice picture man, awesome looking tool. Those FUEL tools are just super sexy!
  20. Hey Jerry, I'm still pretty new here too but always nice to have another person to add to the tool addicted team!
  21. Welcome aboard Kyle. This forum is a great place with a lot of good info. Hope you enjoy!
  22. Welcome aboard both KJ and Tyler. Hey KJ, don't worry about thinking you're too young and that nobody will listen to you man, this forum is an awesome place for guys like us who love tools and love the trades. It's nice to see younger people still having an interest in the trades and tools.
  23. Welcome Chris, you're gonna love it here on the forum!
  24. Welcome aboard! There's lots of cool stuff and valuable info here.
  25. I hope other manufacturers follow suit with the 2-18v setup. I hate the idea of having to buy 36v or 40v batteries if you're invested in 18-20v.
