  1. So we got to use the gun quite a bit today and I'll say I like it but it's giving me trouble with the firing pin not resetting!!! Only thing I can say makes it do it is the gum from nails maybe?? Idk! Seems like I clean the head of glue collection and it works good for 10-20 nails then the fire pin wouldn't reset again!! I was using a brand new pack of hitachi 2" brads When the gun does what it's supposed to its fantastic!! Due to firing pin issue I can't decide if I'm gunna keep it...overall I give it a 7 out of 10
  2. Haha I'll take that and I was digging the fan too!!
  3. Lol that's a good way to put it...Porky!! I could see where the smaller size of a pneumatic nail has is its benefits but when you weight the hose and compressor it's worth it's porky size!Senco has their own brad gun similar to the air strike but seems much smaller however I couldnt see buying into their batteries that only power their nailers and no other types of tools..and of course the higher price.. Still think it's killer run time on either of their batteries..I'm jus super spoiled by Milwaukee red lithiums I'm gunna need one w a fuel gauge!!!
  4. There's been a few nights that you might would have thought so hahaha And most definitely everyone should have a tiki bar!!!
  5. Thanks man..it's a great cookout & entertainment spot rain or shine..right out of my back door!!!
  6. With the age of the shed there's no telling..luckily our neighbor lady (who past at the age of 98!!!!) Had lived next door for decades..her father or grandpa one had lived in our house at some point and said the building was a garage and sat 20ft or away from where it is now and that when cars got too big to fit in anymore they walked up the opening and put it on a higher foundation.. It's pretty neat to see the different theories behind construction over the yrs jus from this one small once garage, then shed, now tiki bar!!
  7. Oh yea and make sure you register the gun & batteries with ryobi in the next few days!!!
  8. Awesome man!! They weren't having any good deals today for me except the battery & charger was $10 off from $59 to $49.. I'd much rather have those batteries though!! I definitely gunna get a few down the road.. Now let's jus hope these things work good for us!!
  9. And I do like that hard case for those nails!!!!
  10. What kind of run time/nail count you getting outta the battery that we have?? I would have got the newer battery w fuel gauge but they didn't have a charger battery deal w that one:(
  11. Thanks guys I've jus finished the eservice and printed everything in less than 10mins..certainly the easier way!!! Are you saying if I make an account w fedex and I can schedule a free pick up???
  12. Good news is I contact Milwaukee and sent this same picture and they said its cover under warranty so that's cool..now my options are take into service center or send it in..service center is about 30mins away and they said they are a few days behind so is have to drop it off and pick up later... Anyone have any info on how the send it process works?? Never had to send one off!!
  13. As the title states my ole trusty goto right hand man died on me today:/..I've had it about a year or so and it gets used several times a week!! Never had any issues with it but I went to use it today but nothing..light comes on but that is it!!! Curious George I am I opened her up to have a look around and found this.. Those 2 black chunks are supposed tobe 1 round piece and goes on that brass looking piece w the splines on it.. it's a magnet of sorts and my thoughts are it got veryy hot and just melted and came apart..you can see some distortion on the pieces and I would run this tool for extended periods under cutting several doorways or pretty much everything cause the uses for this are endless!!
  14. By the way thanks everyone for the input on this topic!!! Love this forum & everyone in it!!! I'm curious as well as to what batteries yall have used with this or the other ryobi air strike guns!!
  15. Ok so i committed..got gun and battery/charger kit(since I have nothing ryobi I had to buy in)..total was less than $200!! I plan do get their newer 4ah pack with fuel gauge if I like the gun enough!! I of course messed w it some as soon as I got home and love it so far..shot 2" through 3/4 plywood on top of 3/4 shelving (partical board w thick paint coat) and it went through all of it nicely..probably wasted 3-400 brad between some old gummed up 2"ers and the 1 1/4" the gun came with!!! So far so good but I got a whole house of base and quarter round to install so I'll let the guys put it through a good days work and see how I feel tomorrow evening!!
  16. Sounds like it's jus something that I'd have to get used to but once I was wouldn't ever know it's there!! I'm digging the best as an option too..still so undecided on the topic..the hoodies and jackets look good too
