  1. Aside from building my work bench. These are essentially my first attempts at woodworking. The table, chairs, and benches I did on my own. The deck I helped 100% of the way with direction from my bro in law. Everything done between April and June of this year. Hard to find time working nights and having two kids [emoji16]. Also have done some brick landscaping around the mulch.

  2. All Pinterest is is link to other websites. Nothing different than using Google. I use it and have built my Adirondack chairs, patio table and benches from there. I like it cause it saves things in one place for later use.

  3. Don't forget to check the clearance section at you home stores. Great deals are to be had! Walked passed and snatched this up for $12! Online prices are around $120. Brand new in box with the original sticker on the seam. :D

Slim pack battery, fat pack battery, and a charger? Fed ex just dropped off one of these for me last week along with a 3d boxx.

  5. Thanks everyone! I really love the table and chairs too. Yes they are 2x6's. Table is heavy and isn't going anywhere! We haven't had the best weather here in central IL lately, rain almost everyday, and everything is holding up great.

  7. Hey guys. Finally signed up after watching tool vids on YouTube for I don't k ow how long. Nice to see other people with like interests. I am still a newbie to tools and building things but have been quickly learning. Here a a few of my projects this year. Mind you I have only built my garage work bench before this. Table, benches, and chairs I built by myself. The deck I helped my brother in law make.

  8. Grab the Milwaukee over the Craftsman. Take a good look at the construction and you will see that Craftsman has really dropped off the cliff when it comes to the construction and it's price point.

The Milwaukee is a nice box. The only thing I don't like about it was the drawer configuration, not enough shallow drawers for what I do. Also it only comes in a 44", if it came in a 52" I would probably be all over it.

It is definitely between the husky and Milwaukee for my next box. Just have to figure out what works best for my needs. Bigger is better but not sure if the husky will fit in my garage or not.

  9. I sold my craftsman set to my brother last year and got a kobalt set from Lowes. Very happy with it. Nothing wrong with my 15 yr old craftsman set, just wanted a change. I like the markings better for sae vs metric and we dont have a sears anymore. We do have an ace though which still carries a good line of craftsman tools.
