I figured we could use a thread for Lowe's clearance items, now with these sales your milage may vary due to Lowe's pricing being a per-store system. This thread is meant for closeout items and not advertised sales(though those can also be posted but probably deserve their own tread). You can post pics that show the price and item number or you may describe the item and price. Please post your city, if not your store number(or street name) so we know where these deals are located.

All items located in Tampa, FL (Waters location):

I saw but didn't think about taking a pic of the 1/4" and 3/8" SAE and Metric 11-piece socket sets(no ratchet) for under $10

Also, $1.50-$3 individual Kobalt crowsfeet and xtreme access sockets back on sale. http://www.lowes.com/Search=kobalt+xtreme+access?storeId=10151&langId=-1&catalogId=10051&N=0&newSearch=true&Ntt=kobalt+xtreme+access#

  2. such an amazing drill, there is no battery slop like with my Dewalt 995 and it just seems so well built and sturdy. I was thinking that the interchangeable chucks would be a weak spot but am happy to say they are solid as permanent chucks and the pop when you remove the chuck lets you know its a solid connection. I tried it out a bit and the fact that I can use a 1/2" bit in 4th gear through some 4x pine is amazing. It just bored through it like it was butter. Well worth the $170 and easily twice that amount.

  3. No word on when but belive me it will come.. I have seen some crazy plans.. :-)

aww you just had to say that didn't you, now my interest is piqued lol. I would love it if they would do what Milwaukee has done and allow you to control the tools settings.

  4. well they never even made the miter saw brushless so I think you'll be waiting a while for a brushless 7 1/4" circular saw, but who knows what they are planning to do. I wouldn't be too happy if they updated the miter saw with a brushless motor after less than a year of it being released though.

  5. Even though I have just bought the Dewalt 995 and M12 fuel I  couldn't pass this deal up. hmm my first thought was that they are bringing out a new drill but I looked at a few different places and couldn't find the same deal anywhere else, even if that was the case I doubt the discount would be so high anyways. Thanks for the headsup btw Chris

  6. I like to build my own furniture and for other people along with building decks so I wouldn't use it every day, but I also want a product that I spend my hard earned money on to be of a certain quality. Don't get me wrong I don't need a festool but I want and expect it to work and work well when needed.

  7. A harbor frieght just opened up in town and they have an chicago electric 12" double bevel sliding miter saw on sale for $140 with coupon, regular price is liste at $300. Does anyone have any experience with these saws, and if so is it worth the $140? I just want a sliding miter saw for 2x and 4x but this seems to good to be true.

  8. If you want the best you have to go with festool vecturo or the fein supercut? I have the Dewalt cordless and though I like the paddle switch I wish you could lock it at any speed you want instead of fullspeed only. They did it on the blower so maybe in the next revision. That might be 10 years down the road  knowing Dewalt.

  9. well I got the hose adaptor to work, the only problem is all of the rubber cement they use to attach the hose to the end piece. Anyways I got it working but tore the hose a bit, oh well it still works. Does anyone know where one can buy a new hose for the 581H? I have been looking but nothing so far.

  10. wow that Bosch would be perfect for someone who just wants one tool to do everything around the home. I wonder how much better that SDS adaptor is than your basic hammer drill? I'm assuming that it's not sold in the NA market and sadly that to get one here would cost more in shipping than the tool itself. oh probably not if you are buying the full kit with sds, angle, offset etc etc since its 459 GBP which is $702
