  1. yeah, that's just my bag of electrical tools. Lol, someday I'll take a pic of all my tools, I have sunk probably more than a grand just this year in most of them. Did a lot of work over the summer and bought them all myself, so nobody can tell me what to do with them. If anybody has suggestions on tools that I could add to my collection, please let me know, thank ypu

Your in the right place my friend, keep an eye under the tool deals section lots of posts on some good deals on tools.

  2. If you watch the drill fight the Bosch faired very well, really the o my one without problems, I have the Dewalt 995, it's a great drill and I love it but sometimes I feel like I'm just using. A spinning computer, same with my fuel m12s.

  3. Nice little bag of tools you got there, like everyone mentioned above good work on your wiring, practice makes perfect. Good to see some of the younger generation take something upon themselves actually useful other than playing video games or whatever, not that there's anything wrong with that but good to see someone your age trying to learn a skill.

  4. It seems like the whole store is Everbilt here there was only a little bit of HDX stuff back in day. They might start putting the Everbilt name on Dewalt tools soon..lol

My closest HD is always behind the other ones for whatever reason lol so in a year maybe they'll be where they are supposed to be now.

  5. Swing by HD today to pick up some stain. They still had the 2 pack of 25' Dewalt tape measures for $14.88 so I snagged one.

I already have the same tape and I like it. Can't beat $7.44 each and you can't have too many 25' tape measures

The Dewalt is my favorite and go too tape now, I love how it has the fractional measurements printed so when you have those moments you don't look like a dummy lol.

  6. Hey BMack, I bet that older saw is still running good? My Dad gave me his old Craftsman 7-1/4" saw which I replaced the cord on and it is still going strong!

I have a 15 amp craftsman professional circ that's actually a pretty nice saw, eventually I want a skilsaw but for now it works very nice. Has some bright LEDs and a decent laser.

  7. I generally do not loan tools out, on our rare occasion to only guys a really trust. As for the other way around I refuse to borrow tools, the last thing I want to do is muck somebodies bad boy up, rather just go buy something or manage what I got. Sometimes things happen and if it's my tool it's one thing but I refuse to be that guy.

  8. HD has recently got rid of HDX and is now using Everbilt which I don't understand. For example if you buy a bag of copper fittings the bag is branded Everbilt but the copper is stamped with Nibco brand. Everything that is Everbilt is two companies, is that even legal..lol

they must be clearing out their HDX stock then I haven't seen much in the everbilt brand yet.

  9. As others have said, if you are planning to remove lug nuts I would reccomend an impact wrench. I use this one since I am part of team Ryobi. I would say they are the best out there in terms of value, especially if you are not a person who uses your tools everyday. I have used the impact wrench and it took off the lug nuts on my car without issue. When it comes to the impact wrench alone I would especially reccomend Ryobi over Ridgid because (feel free to prove me wrong) I believe the Ridgid impact wrench is just a rehoused and rebadged Ryobi one, and it costs $20 more. I have compared them side by side and they look nearly identical except for the color.

They are cousins, the thing about rigid is that they have the lifetime service agreement/warranty on them that would make them stand up against the ryobi. Not knocking on ryobi, I have their jig saw, though I'm not a fan they are not bad tools. But rigids warranty is pretty attractive.

  12. I don't like any of Lowe's brands, the store is to clean, theres nobody there its like a ghost town. Its more for women I think. Instead of having a big tool aisle they have like 20 tiny bookcases..lol I really don't know how they make any money the shelves are full and even on the weekend its not busy.

Yea I agree I bought some lowes generic tack cloth and it was barely sticky compared to HDs HDX brand.
