  1. Turns out there's a laser vynil cutter just sitting around. Software is easy enough. Also got the auto crane working on my second set of wheels.
  2. I love music videos and artist interviews, especially acoustic sets they do for radio stations. Still love how the foo fighters did the Saint Cecilia EP. That was a super badass move on their part, and Saint Cecilia is probably one of their best songs.
  3. Oh man this sounded Russian at first and all I could think of was the world's douciest boy band performing with the world's most intimidating boy band. World's most intimidating boy band doing their regular thing.
  4. Day completely made of meetings. I think I need to start taking baby aspirin. Some days you have to do whatever little things you can to make it through another 24 hours. Don't need this. Don't even really want it. It got me from lunch to dinner though.
  5. Oh shit. I forgot about this video. Beastie boys had the best videos. Intergalactic may be their best though. You're awesome dude! ?
  6. Huh even the Metabo I used to have wasn't brushless. That's sweet.
  7. You underestimate my mindcrippleing charm. She'll be in too much of a hurry to get married and set up joint bank accounts to think about a prenup. You just gotta think about things realistically like myself.
  8. Allow me refer you to Figure A that I posted in a different thread. If I'm going to hate my life anyway, might as well be productive doing it. ?. Figure B. For the road.
  9. Jim Morrison's stuff was pretty chilling. Dude was legit insane. A lot of the Door's stuff is pretty heavy when you read it. Jim Morrison doing metal would have been awesome. "Indians scattered on dawn's highway bleeding Ghosts crowd the young child's fragile eggshell mind. Me and my -ah- mother and father - and a Grandmother and a grandfather - were driving through The desert, at dawn, and a truck load of Indian Workers had either hit another car, or just - I don't Know what happened - but there were Indians scattered All over the highway, bleeding to death. So the car pulls up and stops. That was the first time I tasted fear. I musta' been about four - like a child is Like a flower, his head is just floating in the Breeze, man. The reaction I get now thinking about it, looking Back - is that the souls of the ghosts of those dead Indians...maybe one or two of 'em...were just Running around freaking out, and just leaped into my Soul. And they're still in there. Indians scattered on dawn's highway bleeding Ghosts crowd the young child's fragile eggshell mind. Blood in the streets in the town of New Haven Blood stains the roofs and the palm trees of Venice Blood in my love in the terrible summer Bloody red sun of Phantastic L.A. Blood screams her brain as they chop off her fingers Blood will be born in the birth if a nation Blood is the rose of mysterious union Blood on the rise, it's following me. Indian, Indian what did you die for? Indian says, nothing at all. Gently they stir, gently rise The dead are newborn awakening With ravaged limbs and wet souls Gently they sigh in rapt funeral amazement Who called these dead to dance? Was it the young woman learning to play the ghost song on her baby grand? Was it the wilderness children? Was it the ghost god himself, stuttering, cheering, chatting blindly? I called you up to anoint the earth I called you to announce sadness falling like burned skin I called you to wish you well To glory in self like a new monster And now I call you to pray" -Jim Morrison
  10. If that's the direction you're going then, just look through any of her music videos. I'm going to marry Taylor Swift for that proto funding divorce settlement but this girl will be my second wife and I'll be in it for the long haul. Best voice out there.
  11. I'm still confused as to how this hasn't been posted yet. R.I.P. Jim Morrison. That man was a true genius. If you have the time I highly recommend a pair of headphones, a dark room and listening to "American Prayer" uninterrupted.
  12. Yeah. These things are hands down the best automotive meter I've ever used. I picked up two more and some leads. Grab them guys. They beautiful beautiful machines. I've never once thought: "boy I'm sure glad I don't have a meter right now"
  13. Yeah, actually the second time I picked them up. The first time I bought them they were among the 186 others that I need to replace. I just hope homeboy is using them and didn't ditch them. Good tools.
  14. I'll just pick whichever post gets the most likes on here. Prolly Tuesday. So yeah, like the ones you like.
  15. Imagine the world's shittiest game of hot potato but the potato is in six pieces. Nobody knows who has the pieces. All anybody know is the pieces are hot as hell and if you're holding the piece you need to find someone else to give it too. Now imagine all the pieces of the hot potato are reformed into one large, very hot potato and then given to me. Now we all know who has the potato and five people don't have to worry about potatoes anymore. They also toss in a potato that is really cold. In some people's mind that balances out. Other people have two very uncomfortable potatoes. TL;DR: we'll see how it ends up working, if it does. It could be an opportunity for me or it could be what it has historically been, an opportunity for people to get rid of all their hot potatoes and start calling their hot carrots, potatoes so they can get rid of those too.
  16. Some significant changes at work are requiring me to re outfit and adjust my methodology. This might help.
  17. We use a bunch of non impact 12 point 3/4 drive stuff at work on the big one inch guns at work. No fatalities yet. They did buy the shop guys a couple sunex kits that it doesn't seem they much care to use. I did crack a 3/4 drive John Deere socket with my Dewalt impact...... After hacking it apart with a grinder for use as an impeller spanner. It naturally split in the corners of the cuts.
  18. Ha. Different strokes for different folks. Wait till you hear what @KnarlyCarl uses his old snips for. In my line of work it's more of I start using the Lenox snips (straight cut yellow handle and with extra long jaws) to cut conveyer belting and guys go "Woah, what are you doing with that hammer? Alright I guess go put the torch away Chuy I guess this fuckin' Einstein-ass-clown thinks he's better than us what with using fantsypants scissors." Still in search of a better way to cut conveyer belting.
  19. Yeah last time I bought this deal from them about six months ago it was at $130 and they've kept dropping it. Really useful kit so I just had to get replacement ones. http://www.ntxtools.com has some great GW deals. Both of those kits together we're cheaper than I could find either of the sets individually elsewhere.
