  1. Hey it's the first time I've ever read/heard free and snap on in the same sentence so congratulations.
  2. Hey, there is a difference between a shrink suggesting you be medicated, a court mandating that you be medicated and institutionalized because you are "a danger to himself and those around him, prone to..." and being able to break out of that half assed institution that didn't even have drinking fountain proof glass. I'll let you figure out which category I fit under. Season four had a few solid 'sodes too.
  3. Poor bastard. That one is outside the five year powertrain warranty. Have fun hating your life.
  4. Ooh sounds 'spensive. My only fear is that if I had seal skin gloves I would get into the habit of challenging people to duels, on second thought I'm buying some. Season eleven was such a damn good season. 10 and 11 are tied for best ever season.
  5. Sounded so cool in my head though.
  6. For punching things and not having it result in a restraining order. The cost of pestering folks about when my 90 tooth will come in.
  7. Ugh my non USA redwings just gave out about a month ago. They barely lasted maybe 8 or 9 months. The stitching gave out on one. Load of dog shit for $230. I've only really got maybe 4 months of actual use out of them. I might attempt to restitch them. I would be pissed if I wasn't wearing insulated rubbers (boots, not the Eskimo birth control) since December. I've probably put as much foot time on these boots that are more comfortable without any water leaks and they were only $50 and made in Canada. Warm to 20 below, and I can attest to them being that warm.
  8. Oh I see it now. A sheet goes in between it the two pieces which are held together by magnets. Is it used to mark the outline of a piece on the bottom of a material onto the top?
  9. Oh wow. $70 to ship here. I call shenanigans.
  10. So I just looked through some old garage journal posts and it does look like I need some Big Dawgs. I also found this image which guaruntees that the do not use lube isn't true, at least not as a blanket rule.
  11. Kinda reminds me of like a real violent crime scene from the movies where they flick on the black lights and there is just flourescentified blood and semen sprayed everywhere. Sweet table.
  12. How'd you like that Benchmade auto knife? A guy I knew let me use his. Felt real solid. I guess they replace springs no questions asked. You can get them across the border in Idaho without people asking so many questions.

  14. This seems like a good deal. Anyone know the part number for the metric set or have a Williams catalog? http://aboloxtools.com/socket-tools/socket-sets/standard-socket-sets/3-4-drive-standard-socket-sets/williams-38901-3-4-drive-impact-shallow-socket-set-16-pieces-sae/?gclid=CjwKEAiA2OzDBRCdqIyIqYaaqQoSJABeJZdiRg2-wni_3MhpXMIt6xieNJP8bztwYkkwbRlOI1Ov3xoCod_w_wcB
  15. I'm looking for an entry level 3/4" drive SAE and eventually Metric socket set. All the ones I can find from Pittsburgh to Proto include a ratchet with them. I just want the sockets. Preferably in a metal case. I'm fine with impact grade ones or chrome ones.
  16. Don't even pretend like you've never fallen asleep eating pizza and then woke up, looked down and thought, "sweet, breakfast is ready."
  17. Can barely see the sawzall scars anymore.
  18. I couldn't wear mine. Too uncomfortable. I've done enough dusty stuff with hay and straw to really do a number on my breathing in just the three or so odd years of been doing it that I wanted to try something out when loading the feed mixer. Between the rediculous sweat buildup in the 100°+ weather and the intense pain in my face region I opted for the die at 30 from chronic bronchitis and emphysema and spit up mud than wear one. That's just probably just because of my rinky dink head shape though. That's one of the tools I wasn't too broken up about someone needing it more than me.
  19. To the left you have the basic HF beater wrenches. These turn into breaker bars really quickly as the handles are extendable and the teeth generally don't slip. What I have found usually happens with these wrenches are that the selector lever either seizes or shears off. I don't know why. I have yet to cause any of them to fail on mine, but the ones at the shop all seem to have this problem. Top left stubby three are also Pittsburgh ratchets. They make a good just in case ratchet. Bottom left is a 1/4" drive crescent, no problems with that one slipping. Next to it is a stubby Blackhawk 3/8. That is my all time favorite. In the middle is an SK roto head I picked up on eBay. It seemed like a good idea at the time. I'm a fan of the form, but this one has a lot of chipping chrome. Round head Facom design Proto 3/8. Not that big fan of round heads. I just wanted something with a little higher tooth count than 24. Below it is a 24 tooth Proto 1/4 drive. I'm not sure why I bought it. I rarely use 1/4 drive. Bottom to top on the right: Snap -on dual 80 3/8 flex head with quick release. Not impressed with this ratchet for being $140. I only use it more than my Carlyle because it has a metal handle which handles oil and grease better. Proto 24T 3/8 long handle. I always go for the longest handles I can find. Wright 1/2 drive open gear ratchet. Way too much back drag. Still an awesomely strong ratchet. Proto 1/2 24T. I like my long handle version better. It isn't pictured because I keep it in the truck. Crescent 1/2 and 3/8 drive ratchet. These things are first ratchets and have seen all sorts of abuse. They have easily experienced hundreds of foot pounds. They are short and bulky though. 1/2 drive gear wrench. Real short and bulky. Bought for the sockets it came with. Plombs because killin' Nazis and shit.
  20. That's awesome. I'll have to check out my Lowe's. I still haven't set up my snap-on twist socket tray yet though.... They've had me out of the mechanics shop since September so I haven't been turning a wrench as often as I like.
