    METABO

I had the grinder. Used a lot of the fuel grinders as well. Fuel grinders are trash compared to the Metabo grinders. Metabo does make the best 18v grinder. The flexvolt does have more power, but it has no runtime and inferior ergonomics.

Yeah. Their brushless tools are the best on the market. If you're a HVAC/plumber/electrician/wood construction guy not the brand for you though.
  3. My impulse control ain't that great. SK and Proto.
  4. Is that what poor ole Chester was trying to get away from? Too soon?
  5. Need bigger tools because for to compensate. Mix of SK, Williams, Wright, and of course Proto. This one's name is Rihanna because she can sure take a hit, but even she has her limits. Just needed to cover up the damage.
  6. Big Ron has been demoted to Ron Junior. Needed something a little bigger.
  7. Bought two. Not getting very stellar results with them. Been within 10' of them for an hour now and the last time it picked up was when my phone was 2' from it and on WiFi at work yesterday. Unless the guy stealing my stuff has the app, not really inclined to believe it is theft deterrent.
  8. Finished out my transfer punch collection. Had to work today and snapped a few pictures. Also like $500 in proto and sk stuff that is trickling in because I'm pretending my brain can produce dopamine still. Shout out to my Dremel engraver for making sure I can't resell my tools.
  9. The Lenox blades are shit. At least on steel and all flavors of aluminum.
  10. The thing I like about NCV meters is that they are quick. I don't use them to establish a safely dead leg, but to establish that a leg is live. If it lights up I won't touch it. If it doesn't light up then I'll test it with a DMM and then touch it it's saved me once or twice.
  11. Proto would make a great Jiggalo because they charge a dollar per millimeter and I took all 97 big black millimeters. All 3/4 drive.

And a more interesting Milwaukee 2763 clone https://m.harborfreight.com/20v-max-lithium-12-in-cordless-xtreme-torque-impact-wrench-kit-63537.html
  13. Wera Screwdrivers; Klein Nutdrivers; Napa Pro, channellock and Klein Pliers; Gearwrench and Carlyle sockets; sunex impact sockets; Pittsburgh, Gearwrench, Tekton, Husky, Stanley, Proto, and Duralast wrenches; Proto, Snap-on, SK, Gearwench, Blackhawk, Crescent, Pittsburgh, and Carlyle ratchets (Proto being my preference); Proto and Wilde punches/chisels; Wilde, Sunex, and Proto prybars; Estwing, Colin's Axe, Proto, Napa, Stanley, and Pittsburgh hammers; Proto hex keys; Hanson and Proto extractors; Hanson taps and dies; Stanley, Swanson, and General measuring and marking; Ridgid and Proto pipe wrenches; Proto Pullers; Lenox, Stanley, and DeWalt cutting tools; Proto testers.
  14. Four wrenches, two files, two socket rails. Total: $212
  15. Kinda makes me want to buy a crate of 9.0s and soak them in bleach and seawater then leave them in the bed of my pickup overnight.
  16. It's not that bad, I can count the number of screws I drive in a month on my fingers at this point. Last time I pulled a driver out was early May.
  17. Stay away from like the snap-on and other tool truck sets. They're almost all rebranded and repriced Irwins.
  18. Well they got as figure they can't make their own because the overfilled sack of shit lawyer that owns sawstop will just sue them, so the easy way to bypass that is just buy the company.
  19. Nothing wrong with either. If you aren't greasing equipment both are more than enough. The only features that you actually end up using are included in both.
  20. Can't say it makes me smile but the way a proto extractor fits inside an eight point socket is where it's at.
  21. I actually never used it for bits. I meant the outside hog ring for sockets. I had a sweet Japanese Makita for bits.
  22. Great tool, but that hog ring is shit. I never got around to trying to change it out with a different brand while I had it. Maybe mine was just a fluke though.
  23. Those weather guard ones are so damned nice though. I wish I had one, but I'm about to snap the frame on my pickup as is without any more weight.
