Cordless bottle jack. Cordless winch. A guy can dream. Really though hear me out on this one. Cordless actual power supply. I'm talking just two terminals DC out. All it is is a box with the electronics to make sure it cuts out if the battery gets hot and doesn't drain below the threshold. They would kill with battery sales. There are unlimited uses for such a thing and I believe a huge demand. Yeah people have hacked them together all over the internet, but this would be so much better. $50 power supply to get people to buy into your batteries seems like a smart move to me, but then again what do I know.

Haven't seen them in big box stores but the Deere dealer has had them on the shelf for a couple weeks now.

Yeah my current employer won't buy me truck boxes so my tools are very disorganized right now. Irritating to try and do mobile service when my tools are in $2.89 Lowe's 5 gallon buckets. Hopefully things go through with this new employer because I've seen their service trucks first hand and like what I see.

Got a call from a different company. Told me they were interested in sitting down with me to see about working there. I'm all to eager to leave my current company. They told me to send over an updated resume and then they will set up a time. I've never had to do a resume before. Any templates you guys prefer? For the employers on here, what do you like to see? There are literally thousands of articles about what employers say they like to see, but I'm interested in a more blue collar perspective. New job is for a hay equipment tech. Basically what I do now but it wouldn't be minimum wage, have benefits, overtime, legitimate service truck, and from the guys I've talked to that work for them significantly less bullshit.

Got my hands on one today at a dealership (didn't buy one they wanted $175). Ergonomics aren't great but if I didn't think about the ergonomics while holding it I would be able to use one just fine. Feels just like a Bosch corded grinder I used to have. It's definitely different than the grip on the flexvolt. I can't say if it's better or worse.

Well I'll pass on buying that then. Hate the grip on the Fuel.

Hopefully @Cr8ondt is right then and we get 4.0 batteries, but then we would also get 8.0 full size? I doubt they'd pull that because Milwaukee would use it to market that they have a 9.0 and DeWalt has an 8.0. So maybe 5.0 slim and 10.0? Yeah not sure why the brushed 20v caught so much flak. Granted I've used it more than any other recip saws combined, but I never had a problem with mine. It was perfect for a guy like me who just needs it for maybe a couple hours a month. Just worth having for those bolts that a torch and grinder can't quite get or rough cuts on stainless piping to get the pieces easier to bandsaw. I get that it's not enough for demo guys though. Probably won't replace it at least for a while. I have an old Bosch one laying around that I actually like more but batteries for it would be more than a new DeWalt. Maybe I'll wait and see what kind of 20v they release now that I'm out of any flexvolt tools or batteries. Still waiting on a damn 1" drive impact wrench with 2500 foot pound with minimum runtime of being able to loosen and then tighten both parts of 10 budd lugs or ideally do 40 of the two piece budds and then 40 just nuts. That's enough for a brake job on about anything including tag and steers. Minimum that's a wheel seal.
