  1. Might be different in Europe but I dunno.
  2. Also this. That's the worst charger they offer. The fast yellow charger is worth getting. At the very least the "fast" black charger.
  3. When I was in the shop a week ago one day drained and charged the same 6.0 twice on my impact wrench with no problems
  4. Had to pass on it. A little above my pay grade.
  5. If they don't release a brushless 20v recip saw with a rafter hook on par with the fuel they are just shooting themselves in the foot.
  6. Exactly what the impact wrench needs.
  7. Now I want to see someone lift the drive tires on a manual and start their car by spinning the wheels with one.
  8. Very similar to the Milwaukee
  9. Do you want a folding one or a fixed retracting one?
  10. Sounds like the wood you have now is a slight parallelogram.
  11. Wouldn't it only matter if the track is straight? Measuring your diagonals is a better way to check for square. Checking for parallel only tells you if the sides are parallel.
  12. Seems to be a reoccurring thing with their cordless grinders.
  13. Not sure but I'm going to go with Pratt-Reed as a safe guess.
  14. Where is this deal? You know for a friend.
  15. Just don't get the impact wrench kit. That's similar price to a brushless model. I bought that kit three years ago on sale for $200. Not exactly cutting edge.
  16. Not my trade so best guess without cheating is the trimmer on a stick and the regular one.
  17. No idea. A little outside of my price range for picks/small prybars.
  18. Metabo has the best balance between power and runtime. Definitely the more efficient of the two.. DeWalt flexvolt has significantly more power. I'll bet in a head to head comparison a lot of reviewers would call the flexvolt the winner. No runtime though. I had both and always used the Metabo because you could a lot more work on one battery with the Metabo. That and I had 8 Metabo batteries and only one fv. Metabo had best ergonomics. Fuel grinder is great and I know loads of people who successfully get their job done with it. It's not a good fit for me though. I guess this isn't too terribly relevant, sorry I got off topic a little.
  19. And DeWalt has yet to release a 20v brushless reciprocating saw unless I missed something. That Makita kit is going to serve you better for wood working than the Milwaukee kit. The Milwaukee kit is all older tools as well.
  20. Not really their usual trade. I'll bet Hitachi had something to do with this. Good to see them branching out.
  21. Same. Was going to go to the world dairy expo in Wisconsin that's going on right now but I had a bunch to do already at work and the idea of crowds at airports plus a couple hundred dairy farmers in one building is why I'm still at work. Fabtech might be worth the crowds though.
  22. Yeah just make sure you get good. Plenty of us guys who are good enough but not good. We're good to have around but won't ever make good money. Be your own boss if you can. At the very least don't work for someone who isn't very familiar with welding. Had my boss tell me to tig weld up some cracks in a stainless screen roller on some manure equipment. Was expecting me to try even though I could see I wasn't about to weld metal worn down to about 18 gauge, still a mesh, and with a quarter inch gap with an entry level Tig so I wasted three hours driving, setting up, and trying then put stuff away and driving back while I had downed equipment that needed attention because he couldn't wrap his head around how that works.
