They run $2 a pair where I shop so I just load up on a half a dozen of each shade. From my experience they perform just as well as the DeWalts.

I just worry about long term OS support as its really just some company selling the phone with CAT branding on it
Same here. Is it an Android based phone or do they have their own OS?

I have the rugged version of the S5 and it works pretty well. It can call, text, open Tapatalk, and run periscope.

Be right back, getting an ice pick lobotomy so I can forget what I just read.

Hmmmmm. I use the cheap nemesis glasses almost exclusively. I wonder if some anti fog spray like you use on ski goggles and snowmobile helmets would help.

I usually love the look of Bosch toolls, but I just threw up a little bit.

It probably could as long as your aren't firing them like a machine gun, I'd go bigger for framing nailer.

Hmm, I'm gonna have to pass then. My dad said I could have his old broken Hitachi if I could fix it. I'm sure it's just a bad pressure switch.

I have a 5" Fein, but I want to get a Metabo 4.5" or two.
Hmmm, a 4" Makita, a 4.5" DeWalt, a 4.5" Bosch, and a 5" Fein. I'm beginning to think I may have a grinder problem...
Can never have too many grinders.

Is there a price line on that phone yet?

Its not a bad little compressor, gets most jobs done as long as you aren't trying to run too crazy of tools. Would be good to mod with some wheels on it to roll it around.
Could it handle a single framing gun?

Some top notch work there

I need to learn how to do some sweet airbrushing.

I've also used these tap sockets with success.

This will end at the end of next week. Rules are thus: All entrants must post a minimum of three pictures. All pictures must be of a project (all three can be of the same project, I just want something to look at) CURRENTLY in progress and must be a picture of the project in its CURRENT state. All entries must contain a short, written, way that two or more of the tools could be incorporated to aid in the finishing of the projects. All entries must be in by Saturday March 12 2016 at 10:00 PM PST for consideration. Winner will be chosen at random from valid applications and announced in this thread.
The tools: I can't vouch for whether any of these still function and if you respond with complaints about them you will be instructed to find the nearest spoon and go eat s***. The tools are Craftsman 19.2v drill, dust buster style vacuum, spotlight (missing the bulb), and a circular saw. They all worked at the last time of use and saw little use. No battery or charger is included as both are broken. You can by a battery and charger for $35 at your local sears.
Alternative entry method: Submit a video of yourself singing one of the following songs: Love Myself by Hailee Steinfeld, Love Me Harder by Ariana Grande, or Hands to Myself by Selena Gomez. Videos must include your face. You can't just lipsync either. I will peddle tools in exchange for your dignity.

I have a whole set of Irwin pliers that are pretty nice.

I'll take Irwin ovver most brands, especially the new German made stuff.
-
Only reason I don't touch Mac is because they aren't sold in my go to tool store, they have plenty of proto and Irwin to spend my coin on though.

Out dirt here is too hard to dig with an auger, it's just solid caliche. I dug a trench for a pivot mainline where it got so bad that I broke an excavator tooth and wore the rest down an inch ore more.I've spent so much time digging post holes with a digging bar and a pick. We only go 2' max. Okay, some places an auger is doable, but I was never lucky enough to work in those places, plus my dad would never rent one when he had six kids that he could hand a shovel. For work I'm about to put in several thousand feet of heavy fencing, but we get a skidsteer mounted auger.

It's sad to see a nice German company sell out. This is why we can't have nice things.
And before someone calls me out on this one, I know that it what I said is a naïve portrayal of the way things work.

Stercorarius..I don't think you got it hot enough, it didn't burn through the bench. Also, wouldn't a standard gear puller work just the same? And...where's your extinguisher, gloves, and hot work permit???
Yeah a standard gear puller would have worked also, but, like I said, work is a lot more satisfying when stuff shatters into pieces in a climactic manner. Where's my what? Please tell me a hot work permit isn't a real thing.

I would define seriously consider one if they offered it with At&t.
