  1. I've always wanted to see a piece made out of burlwood accented with ebony.
  2. Welcome to the crew bro. I'm sliding down the slippery red 12 volt slope myself so itll be up to you and comp to be direct all of my income away from my wallet.[emoji106]
  3. I literally Wade knee deep in shit to work on pumps and reach down with my bare arms to pull chunks out of impellers. I've had my hand so far up a cows ass while pulling a dead calf out while having circulation cut off by contractions to the point where my arm was asleep for an hour and I my shirt was drenched and drilling in her blood. I would still rather work my job than that job. Why? Because when people ask me what I do I don't wanna say I'm a dick dipper.
  4. Is this quick clot the same shit as blood stop powder you use on cows just in a different package? Like is there any reason not to just use the cow powder.
  5. You can probably get a rebuild kit for it.
  6. I know lithium's ship to Washington at least.
  7. I have some black oxide box end wrenches and proto does not disappoint you as far as finish quality goes. Some of the best chrome I've laid hands on too.
  8. Yeah I by no means was trying to equate Pittsburgh's to protos. Opposite ends of the spectrum. Protos are really nice. They make beautiful pieces. That and I like the way their catalog is full of pictures like these.
  9. Protos. About 60 for a 1/2" pear head and 50 for the 3/8. Great ratchets. No regrets. They have options so you can go short arc swing for tight spaces or wider swings between clicks gor torque and durability. If you're looking for a lower end option the performance tool double sided ratchet is really convenient. I have sheared seized manifold bolts with a crescent 3/8 with no problems. Pittsburgh ratchets will hold their own if you are on a budget. And in between option would be a black hawk, sunex, tekton, and Stanley in that order.
  10. Tightening that is. Loosening don't matter.
  11. Rule of thumb is never use an impact on wheels with disc brakes unless you have a torque stick.
  12. Just remembered this because 'tis the season. The old hard cases get hollowed out then bam you got yourself a man's briefcase.
  13. Kliens and Pittsburgh's have never done me wrong. The new Milwaukee set that comes with the striker plate on the back looks really tempting though.
  14. My mom's Canadian so I went out on a limb and trusted them this one time. In USD it was $114. You can't get just the battery for that price.
  15. I hear you man. There is by no means anything wrong with going for less cash, that's the only reason I have the yellow and not the red. From what the Milwaukee rep claims that red beast actually performs a lot higher in independent testing than advertised.
  16. It looks even better in yellow[emoji6]
  17. Hooray for OSHA[emoji19]
  18. Local tool shack guy said he'd hook mine against one of their Milwaukees and run it till one breaks. I don't know if he'll still take me up on the offer though.
  19. I don't know. I've only used the detent pin Milwaukee and it has less power. My old Milwaukee impact wasn't the fuel so also not a good benchmark. The Milwaukee seems to have more precise internals. The Dewalt anvils have more play to them. That being said my money is on the Dewalt just because I can't root against myself. Both are very capable but the DeWalt feels better.
  20. I tried that but It still tends to work its way into an uncomfortable position. IDK I'm probably just being a whiny little brat just feel like the design is less than ideal for those of us that are constantly hopping in and out of equipment. I get that that its targeted toward electricians but I personally wouldn't purchase one.
