  1. I know this will make you fellow knife lovers cringe but the DeWalt lives again(with probably little to zero integrity at the base of the blade). I love knives and didn't want the knife to go to waste and so I introduce to you the all new limited edition DeWalt fixed blade knife (scraper at this point)
  2. Yeah I "need" one for prepping plug welds so really it's already paid itself off and I don't even have one yet.
  3. Anybody ever tried pemmican? Sounds like jerky on steroids.
  4. Hey, why you gotta be like that man?[emoji6] I was hoping someone would talk me out of buying one and now I can't not buy one. I even feel like I need two for some reason.
  5. Just watched the video Dan and Eric did in it. Didn't realize it was that old, local tool shack displayed it as a new tool. I'm almost definitely sold on it.
  6. I like you attitude![emoji106] [emoji106] [emoji106] I think my tax return is going to buy me this, and the HD combo deal with the 3/8 Fuel impact and right angle drill if they're still on sale when I get the check.
  7. I just got into it and it keeps growing.
  8. Yeah, thank you. I appreciate the input. As far as specs go it looks like the Milwaukee has a few ounces lighter than the Dremel and substantially faster charging speed along with another 2,000 rpm. Really as far as specs go Milwaukee has a slight advantage but Dremel has the name going for it. Really though if I had to choose between the two I'd go with the Milwaukee. I'm just don't want to buy it and find a fatal flaw.
  9. In my experience with my corded dremel all the dremel attachments never really get used. The only time they would is when I'm next to an outlet and can use my corded one.
  10. Have you had good luck with S&W? All two or three of mine only lasted for a month max before the latch was shot and the screws had all walked out.
  11. I'm looking at the new(ish) rotary tool and was wondering if its worth the $100. I know you can get a real cordless dremel for $10 cheaper but I like my Milwaukee batteries. Does anyone have experience with one of these? I'd like any input you have. If no one has one I'll buy one for the advancement of "science".
  12. Lol yeah that was a typo, had klein crimpers in the other hand[emoji16]
  13. Not quite jerky but it'll do the trick.
  14. Bought this pair a while ago. If any of you out there are on the fence about buying these I highly recommend them. They slice through 7 wire SOOW cables like butter. Edit: don't know why I wrote Klein when I meant Irwin.
  15. Some sorta guide for some kinda joint?
  16. To get the video links to work you have to click on them and delete the /video chunk out of the URL.
  17. I know its not scientific but this is how we separate the men from the boys. About an hour later the Dewalt is annihilated. The casualties? First the thumb stud then the latch. Here's how I test knives to their limits. https://vimeo.com/153586498 I'm honestly surprised it held together for so long.
  18. Just to be that douche I had to go and buy one of these today to see how it stacks up.
  19. In all seriousness though branding cows makes you hungry as an MF'er.
  20. A benchmade is definitely on the list. That and a sebenza[emoji7]
  21. "Sorry guys looks like we're taking a detour to the butchers" mmmmmmmm jerky
  22. I keep my knife in a leather sheath on my belt and never have to worry about losing it. I had a fastback for about a day but I didn't like anything about it and didn't bother looking for it when it went missing.
  23. Buck 110 all day everyday. That and a leatherman charge tti. A lot of guys like kershaws and Gerber's but the buck is the only one that feels right in my hand.
