Just a basic set up I don't have much room so I built a cheapo miter/table saw/work bench area still going to build some shelves for tools above the work benchYou should show it off. I'm sure it will look great.

That looks awesome, I am building a miter station in my little shop right now also, mine is just osb and 2x4's and the miter saw will fold down into the cabinet cheap and easy lol

It cuts very true, only thing I don't like about it is if you are working in the sun it can make it hard to get a shadowDoes the shadow line cut true?

I have the flexvolt miter saw the shadow line for me is exactly where the blade will land and is the same thickness of the blade

They sell the rollers for extra now got to get us anyway they canYeah that’s exactly why I bought mine but apparently the first gen had them and then the next two models didn’t. Not sure why. Mine are rounded with an attached flat piece but they don’t roll. Solid frame though, I like it a lot, just a couple of design issues I was not aware of

Nice that planer is so handyJust picked up a cordless Dewalt planer, the DCP580B. The motor has a noticeable increase in pitch switching between a 1.5 slim and a 60 volt. Really stoked!

Probably be better off just replacing the saw with something that has rack and pinion fenceCan I replace the fence on my kobalt table saw with something better?

It would cool to see a flexvolt router table and 20v compactHopefully if they’re really doing a cordless router it will be a Felxvolt design (and therefore less compact than the Makita), prompting Makita to release a larger cordless router of their own. I love the Makita compact but would also like it if they had a bigger model.

I usually use 5 or 6.0 batteries and have used 3.0 before without any problemsWell I went ahead and ordered a 570 but I was watching a youtube video review and a guy said he thinks his has killed some 5 amp hour batteries and thinks you shouldn't run anything under a 6.0. Has anyone else had an issue with the saw killing batteries or did this guy just have some bad luck.

I have had the 570 since it first came out, and it has been a great saw maybe the one he got does not work right. I have had none of the problems he listed as being wrong with it

That's weird I got the 570 also mine did not come with the fancy rafter hook, but it does well for rough work and ripping plyHit the Wrong button.
We used the saw, today. I got some “hands on” time, as did everyone else.
Overall, it is worthless. No power. The old 6 1/2” have more power.
About 2:00, I heard, “ $&&$&&?£€>It jus doesn’t have any power. Complete waste of money.
Tomorrow, I will call Acme tool to see what their return policy is.
In a positive note, the bevel adjustments are very good. The switch and overall motor running, is good. The guard is great.
My opinion stay away from this saw.

I have the same nails, it will fire maybe 3-4 before it jams. But with smooth nails it very rarely jamsrcarnes911...I use paslode ace full head 2 3/8” ring shank every weekend when doing pt decks through 5/4 x 6 pt decking, those fire great ...you had a problem ? “Talk to me ,goose”...

I have had no problems with my 692 works great as long as you don't use ring shank nails
