  1. Howdy all!

I recently bought a pair of brand new Flexvolt saws, a 60V Wormdrive and a 60V Chainsaw, which I enjoy using very much I must say. These are great tools and I plan to add acouple more 60V tools to my shop. The trouble I'm having however is with Warranty Registration. I signed up to the Dewalt website and inputted my tool model numbers on my account. But this really doesn't make sense to me because there really isn't any way to register my specific tool's (and batteries) serial numbers or any requests for proof of sale. The list I gathered is no more useful then a wishlist, it seems.  Am I missing something? I'm located in Canada, if that matters.

    Thanks.

    Ti
There are date codes stamped on the tools and batteries warranties apply to that date but if you have the receipt they will warranty from that date

  3. Tomorrow is February 1st which means many current deals end today and hopefully new deals tomorrow. I wasn't impressed with the January deals but I heard rumor February could be better.
Not much for good deals that I have noticed so far but cpo has the DeWalt flexvolt miter saw kit for $449 best deal I have seen on it so far

  4. Power station is bulkier and is a very slow charger.

New charger will charge 4x 9.0ah batteries in 90 minutes. That's really nice.

I can see the use but it would only be a garage charger for me, to big to carry around and in the garage it does not really need to be fast

Had one quick go in the front garden on a random piece of concrete and it ripped through it with ease! Roll-on tomorrow for some proper testing!
I have heard nothing but good things about the flexvolt grinder, I have the 20v brushes grinder and it is a beast can only imagine what the 60v is like

  6. My Lowe's has a decent tool selection, but not great home Depot has a better selection. But I have noticed Lowe's seems to get new releases in stock faster then home Depot and they have a better selection of multi tool blades

Also somewhat tool related the mail says that the Bass Pro gift card I won from What Tool's Inside on the 4th is showing up today.

  8. This coming year is going to be a great one by the looks of it, I am starting a new job after a bidding war between my current employer and new employer, so this year will be a bunch of the more expensive DeWalt 20v and flexvolt tools, I might get into the m12 system also there are a few tools I want in that line up. I might go for a new phone also my Nexus 6 is starting to show it's age
