1. Please forgive me in advance if my question sounds ridiculous, I am absolutely not familiar with this kind of tool.

I understand that it's not exactly one of those big corded compressors with 200 liter tanks, but would it still be possible to use it with a blow gun for cleaning stuff, for example a mower deck?
If you want something like that you would be better off getting the flexvolt compressor

2. I am up to 22 20v and 60v tools, I guess I got into them because I always liked using them when I had a chance. Saw a good deal one time for a kit, picked it up and and I was hooked

3. Lowest form of scumbag is a tool thief.
They should have a special punishment for those bastards.

That said, Milwaukee packout is about the worst "steal me" sign you can get!

4. Here's another one:

I'm the tool you grab when you don't know exactly what you need.
I'm often called by a brand name, but my real name is different.
I'll open up for you when you rub me with your thumb.

What am I?
Adjustable wrench

5. I disagree.  The Dewalts rails are so sticky deflection is guaranteed on long bevel cuts. Plus it’s got a bushing that if tight enough to eliminate play one cannot slide the saw.  The Dewalts a framer or rough outside trim.  The makita is a finish saw, love the true soft start and I am surprised by its power.

Maybe you got a bad one my flexvolt miter slides great very smooth

6. I would agree, at some point it gets where we simply dont need bigger batteries.  Making a given battery SMALL I think is the direction companies will be headed soon.  When you get to the point where a battery will get you through multiple days of work....bigger just wont be necessary.
We will probably see a new line of slim batteries soon with the new cells a 5.0 slim would be freaking awesome

7. $200 isn't bad. Only issue is a 2 hour charge on a fast charger is a bit slow. DeWALT needs a faster fast charger. Framer joe MOAR POWA!
$200 is just a guess, if you have this battery you have more batteries charge time does not even matter to me any more I have so many batteries

8. Well, I have 8 FV batteries, and 7 20V of various sizes.  So, run time is not a big issue for me.  Also, I dont think i will need the larger size that the FV can handle.  I'm guessing that the 20V can do everything I need it to.  Just dont want to regret it later.  However, from what I'm seeing, the 20V will almost certainly be plenty for my needs.

Go 20v then, you won't be disappointed, and it gives you the excuse to get the big one later lol

9. I have the 20v xr grinder, it's great lots of power I can get about 15 minutes of runtime with a flexvolt battery, the paddle switch can be a little finicky, but as long as you don't need the bigger wheel and have extra batteries it's a beast, if you think you will need the larger wheel on the flexvolt get it I don't have it but have used it before and it has balls

11. I use mine sometimes for putting on siding.

I work by myself. Before I tear off old siding, I tapcon two by fours to the foundation just below the current siding.

That makes a nice ledger to put new siding on. Five minutes Of work for no struggles holding siding in place while trying to nail it straight.

Good idea, it's a pain chalking a line putting one end up than trying to level it out
