Yeah, the guy does not have a filter when he talks, just tells it like he sees it. Overall though I was impressed with DeWalt's build quality. In their defense the Fein teardown didn't have any epoxy on their winding either. Though they were attached better and less susceptible to vibration.

The 5 inch makita rat tail had epoxy that thing Was beauty Buford Georgia USA made quality stuff I own that exact grinder and love it ??

We all knew how this would play out. Let's not kid ourselves.

Started sanding the outside for paint. Since I redid the drill press my ocd would get the better of me sooner or later if I didn't redo the outside of the grinder. Not sure how much more I will do. They are only vacuum cleaned right now. 0b80a5aa8054e481a9a1d48ea65f4886.jpg811fbddea7cc03d84bba50c8d2458300.jpg

  3. I had to finally replace the cord on my baby 9 inch Bosch grinder that's around 40ish years old . with the old cord I am going to bend and cut spell out Bosch and hang it up. The reason why I changed it because the terminals plug part they were too short .

The second pic, the Can Am is off to the left in a snow bank. That's the only one I have with the plow on her. And I'm too lazy to go outside right now and take one of her under the tarp!

Just curious, how long did it take to sand? I would be loathe to try it without a sandblaster. Looks good! How well does the Plow/ATV combo work?

About 30mins I did it with a flap wheel and just the front and places it needed it    . yeah it works really good the four wheeler is pretty powerful

  9. Here is a picture of my mitersaw its around 32ish years old production year around 1985 . very powerful cuts better then some saws I have used . That have been 15 amp and this ones only 12 . overall wouldn't trade her for anything . was my high schools and I bought it from them and restro it new paint grease

Tilting? Bevel? that what you mean? @CATERPILLAR

It is really easy to adjust to square, as well

    ..

The only issue that i've had recently was a loose rail guide, but it just takes a little bit of adjusting:

? What u mean bevel and tilting ? Yes couldn't think of the word for the life of me ???

  11. I would say Hitachi , bosch, makita. Have had a lot of experience with Hitachi's and makita not so much bosch . there are things to like and dislike about all them. Example the guard on the hitachi is an okay design but have had problems with it . very powerful and clean cut good 45 degree cuts and the tilting is good.

Yeah why does that have to happen!!? I'll have safety glasses on and the wind will blow stuff right around the glasses! Or an eye lash at the most impromptu moment

Oh boy I'm in the bad habit about not even wearing them while doing that

Young, dumb and full of ________
