  1. The Bosch is very Good and the fein lithium ion is the one I like the look of.
  2. Well with a little luck someone will buy some and post how they perform.
  3. Don't get me wrong there's a whole pile of junk on car boot sales as well LOL. Over here a flea market is often held on a town market where there are covered stalls like a table with a big roof so customer and stall holder stand out of the worst of the weather and the public can also rent a stall here too. These do not charge entry to the market either.
  4. Makita is producing many new tools from Oscillating tools, reciprocating saws and multi function drills that can switch from hammer to drill only to impact driver all in one tool. These and many others will be available soon. Let us know if you buy any of the many new tools Makita is producing and what you think.
  5. We do still make some world class stuff, but our engineering and Building trades have been starved to almost extinction, and the idiots who run this country are too short sighted as always.( end of rant) LOL
  6. I know how you feel Pal. Would love to have some home made power tools that I could sing the praises of that were built in the U.K.
  7. Wow some of the big industrial revolving laser levels are very expensive and that is a serious investment.
  8. Not really pal. We have very few and it is something I am very sad about. The power 8 workshop and the Evolution tools are about as near as we get and many are build abroad but designed here.
  9. Eric and Dan have just reviewed the Bosch 4100 Table Saw. Let us know your thoughts and if you are in the market for a table saw does the easy tool less set up and ease of use make this a winner for you? Maybe the gravity stand feature which means you wheel right from the truck or van to the job and in a few seconds you are set up and ready to go saving you time?
  10. Hi folks, Eric and Dan just reviewed the new compact impact wrench from Milwaukee. Give us your thoughts and let us know how it performs for you if you have bought one or are about to.
  11. I will keep an eye out for those makers but they don't jump out as ones I have seen. And as far as the Festool level maybe the designer was that guy you asked about describing green to? LOL The Bosch laser looks quality but to be honest that old Dewalt laser of mine has been a cracker, and anything more substantial for very big jobs i would probably hire in.
  12. Fein tools are very well engineered tools I put them along side Metabo and high end manufacturers like Festool for quality. Just watch the length of time recommended for constant use on the Fein Multi tool because some get very hot and need to cool down every 25 to 30 mins. The multi tool is where i would have started using a brushless motor first if i were a manufacturer because they are such a high reving tool that the ability to run cool is more of an issue. The Draper expert range are actually quite good for a home owner I think they would do just fine. And your other questions 1) No hahaha 2) Depends on who ate where lol 3)Put it in a boat 4)You don't, and what the hell a little mould never hurt no one LOL 5)Life needs an eye test ( For throwing those lemons) 6) I am doing my best hahahahaha
  13. I have a Dewalt Laser level which has been a little belter and use Stabila level as my every day. I like the look of the new Stanley levels, but as yet I have not bought a digital level.
  14. Does anyone else use a laser level? I Know I would not be without mine.
  15. Me Too guys would be cool to see some photographs of these collections and restorations.
  16. Ask a question about anything at all and see if anyone on here can help. Don't be shy there is no such thing as a daft question.
  17. Anyone heard of Adventuridge? I have a little multi tool gizzmo with a blade, bottle opener,Large spoon, tiny spoon, a point blade/spike and for some reason a small cork screw. All stainless steel. And handy at break time.
  18. I would really also like to see more reviews on drill bits and blades. the things that no good tool or user can do without. The battle of the bits would be very cool. What the heck did they go back to before someone invented the drawing board? LOL
  19. I know what you mean about the chargers lol. It is hard even here to get feed back on some tools before you buy but I like to think I would be honest if I bought a pup of a tool. The metabo range is a lot smaller in the number of tools in it, but thus far I can't complain about the 18v tools they have been very very good. There are many tools I would like to review but many are not available over here in the U.K.
  20. The other thing I did not mention is it also means that you have the charger for your country, which allows you to buy the bare tools from abroad if you spot a bargain on line.(just be aware and always ask about the cost of shipping)
