Their routers are a tier above everyone else IMO. The super-jaws are nice quality (I have one). But I can't speak to their whole range.
kruton
Their 18v drills and drivers look too much like toy rockets to me. I would like to try out those super jaws though. Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk

Except for CMT Orange Tools ;-) Some CMT Orange Tools routers are re-badged Triton routers. Before CMT switched to Triton they had a similar deal with German tool manufacturer Elu and later DeWalt after DeWalt took over Elu. The Elu MOF177E / DeWalt DW625E router was also sold in Orange as CMT 2000. Sources: http://www.routerforums.com/general-routing/30682-cmt-routers-any-opinion.html http://www.ukworkshop.co.uk/forums/cmt-2000-router-problem-t69052.html The same goes for the Super Jaws that is sold under both the CMT and Triton brands. CMT is especially famous for their routers and their huge range of high quality router bits, at least they are very well known for this here in Europe. dwain
yep, what makes those Triton routers so good (and the ones rebadged as CMT) is that they not only have micro adjustment, but you can also move the depth the full range in 2 seconds. Single spanner bit change, huge power, soft start etc. They make the BEST in-table routers, because you don't need a router lift.
T75R
If any of you guys follow April Wilkerson's YouTube channel she is sponsored by Triton. The majority of her tools are Triton and she seems to like them a lot. She's not too terrible to watch either

Not accusing her but you know there is always two sides of the coin, hard to say something bad when a tool company gives you whatever you want lol Jimbo Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

ChrisK
I'm not sure if this plays into this and I stopped subscribing to her but I was watching a video recently and her Sawstop cabinet saw is gone and she seemed to be using her Triton conversion table / saw kit.

I've heard their routers are good but I've never tried one nor seen one in person. Supposedly Rockler carries their tools. Next time I'm up in Portland ME. I'll swing in and check them out.

I don't disagree with you one bit Dwain and seeing that's she is provided tools to operate her shop is a really nice perk for her. I am surprised though to see that some of her tools just disappeared! Sponsorship is a good thing but being non biased is more important. I am not saying she isn't non biased just making a casual observation! I stopped subscribe to her a while back but I still check in every once in a while as I do listen to their podcast. dwain
cool. I don't even know who you're talking about anyway, my comment was just a casual opinion that wasn't asked for anyway oztooltalk gets free tools from manufacturers, but we don't hide that. and we allow retail stores (who sell many/all brands) to sponsor us.
wildroamer
Well I ordered, then cancelled, a Triton jawhorse after reading less-than-stellar reviews that indicated quality had gone down since production went to China. Don't know how true that is, but just ordered a Rockwell Sheetmaster as I have only heard great things about them. We shall see.

rfwjr
I remember on one of April's videos she did talk about that she had been contacted by Triton tools and they were going to sponsor her and that they would be sending her free tools to use. But she does not have a disclaimer on her videos that she is sponsored by them.

But she does not have a disclaimer on her videos that she is sponsored by them. She mentions it ("I'm sponsored by triton and they've been great to me" every time brands are brought up. I don't fault her. She had a couple videos about being sponsored and when they talk about it on the podcast she always leads with her sponsor. I think it's an odd sponsor since they aren't in HD or Lowes. But good for her.
