man-machine
I've been wanting to take a scrap pallet from work and make it into a mountain bike trail jump ramp so I did. This job kicked my azz but I'm satisfied with the end result. Check out the ancient-history metal can ShopVac wired into the el-cheapo B&D 9" chopper, hey it was all free and works.
man-machine
It doesn't look like much but when one end is set in dirt and the other end is up on legs about 8-10" high it should have a decent hook to it. Getting that curved radius right wasn't glorious and those spiral-twist nails take a huge jerk (present company included) to get them out. Notice the exclusive "Strike Zone" slat spacing, mistakes I mean er umm features like this are normally only found on higher priced stolen-from-the-alley-next-to-the-dumpster pallet jump ramps. I think it looks awesome and putting this on a mtn bike trail is awesome.

man-machine
I made three more, longer & better using a 10 foot radius compass to draw the arc onto the wood.
