slopjock78
So I have had the DCF895 impact for a couple years now and have been very happy with it. However, my brother was doing some plumbing for me over the weekend and he has the DCF887. I picked it up and handled it a little bit, and it looks pretty nice. For anyone that has used both of them, please talk me out of (or persuade me to) replacing my 895 with the 887!! Yes, I do have a bit of a tool addiction 1
Trim guy
Just clarifying, DCF895 vs DCF887? I think the only real difference is preference with the different chuck "styles".

Jronman
torque of the DCF887 is higher your looking at 1500 in/bs for the 895 and 1825 in/lbs for the
StrippedScrew
I owned the dcf895 for about 4 years now and it still does everything I ask it to do. I often wonder why DeWalt got rid of the small button to release the bit in the chuck and went back to the regular way.
Framer joe
I prefer the 887....more torque and I don’t like the 895 chuck.......We use many 887 all day , everyday,,no problems....
