DR_Watcher
Hi, I just received a used Makita BHR241. My 3A batteries fit it fine, but the 5A (BL1850B) get stopped by a small protrusion in the battery bay. It would be easy enough to file out this block, but obviously they put it there for a reason. If I was to remove it, would this rotary hammer damage my 5A batteries? DRW
JimboS1ice
My guess is the drill isn’t set up for star batteries, the older 3.0 did not have the protection of the newer packs so older tools won’t accept a star protected pack like the 5.0Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
