Firebird1
Hello Everyone I have a Makita drill set. 18v. The drills are older. For some reason the drills cut out for no reason at all. Usually when you first pull the trigger. All I have to do is take the battery off and reinstall it and it works OK again. It might last a half hour, sometimes it happens constantly. The drills never cut out when they are running just when you pull the trigger. The slower you pull the trigger the bigger chance they will cut out. The batteries are new and do come up full charge. Does any one have any idea what could cause this. Thanks Jim
JimboS1ice
My guess would be the switch behind the trigger is shotSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
HiltiWpg
If it’s a brushed drill, the trigger switch. If it’s brushless, then you may need a new controller. The fact that removing the battery resets it sure sounds like a brushless still!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
