BJL
I bought a 2002 magnesium 1617EVSPK used and I'd like some help. The bellows have come off the washers on top. I've tried to stretch the bellows and reattach, without tearing them, but it doesn't seem to work. What is the easiest way to slide the bellows over the top washer? I don't want sawdust to build up inside the bellows. Edited October 10, 2019 by BJL picture added
BJL
I struggled and finally was able to stretch the bellows over the washers. After doing so, I discovered the washers are only on the top, not the bottom, leading me to determine the bellows are designed to be compressed, not stretched (possibly to extend their life).
