I have the M18 milwaukee impact driver and hammer drill (bought from amazon US) And they are both great tools. For the upcoming black friday sales I want to get the M18 rotary hammer and a jigsaw. Upon looking for the best deals, I saw a change in price between amazon US and amazon UK, But the model number is different and the tools themselfs also look a bit different (see picture). I know the batterys are the same. Couldn't find any comparison online between the tools.. Can I assume those are the same tools with just minor cosmetic changes? Worrying about the EU tools quality.. Biggie Posted November 13, 2021 Report Share Posted November 13, 2021 The chuck on the rotary hammer has a sort of quick change chuck. I believe they come standard with an sds chuck but you can easily remove it with that red ring. Don't know why but it seems to be the way hammer drills are made in EU. The EU jigsaw you have listed has a brushed motor and the US model is the fuel brushless motor. Which I would consider a pretty substantial difference.
