ChrisK
So, I am looking at figuring out how to set up a my power tools from various manufactures to one of my two Ridgid shop vans. Ends up I want to buy the dust extractor from Festool but at $485 for the wee one I am not so sure I want to do that right away. I have changed the lay out of tools in my woodshop and just bought the Carvex from Festool and am looking to get an RO 125 sander too. Anyways, I was researching on line and came across a really cool article from Todd Clippinger on Lumberjocks.comLumberjocks.com/toddc/blog/2405I can set a hyperlink on account I have an iPad and for the life of me cannot figure it out so....happy reading.

Harold Wray
Good article Chris. I didn't know the festool vacuum hose fits other tools. Have you seen this from Craftsman (http://www.sears.com/craftsman-auto-switch/p-00924031000P ) . Not as built-in as Festools dust extractor, but pretty cool. I have been wanting to get one and connect it to my shop vac and tools.
Harold Wray
Edit: I just read the part in the article mentioning the craftsman auto switch. Never mind.
