I had not yet seen those vids, so thank you for sharing that link and welcome to the forum.

When shopping for power tools, I'm a firm believer in putting the tools to use in the real world and comparing them in real world applications as opposed to picking out our tools based on specs alone.  The specs are definitely important to me, but its the real world performance in addition to features that gets my final attention.  DeWALT grabbed my attention from our trusty Hitachi impact drivers when we bought our first DC827 Impact Driver to try out. I also bought a couple Milwaukee 2650 M18 impact drivers to try out as well.  We chose the DC827 over the other tools because it has more real world 'sustained' torque to get our jobs done quicker in addition to having good ergonomics and it's the lightest weight impact driver we own (using the 18V nano battery).
