DW733 Rollers

I am doing a complete maintenance service on my DW733 Type 1 planer and have the following questions:

1. What lubricant is recommended for the roller bearings?

2. What lubricant is recommended for the gear-chain assembly?

3. Tightening down the roller support tabs until the screws are hand tight nealy bind the rollers.  Yes, the bearings are in the proper orientation, lubricated and not connected to the gear chain.   Turning on the machine in this state melted the motor drive belt.  The presence of springs under the bearings indicates that the rollers should have some minimal up and down movement to grab and hold down the workpiece, but also turn without much resistance.  Tightening the roller support brackets down all of the way does not allow for that.  Thoughts?
