cordless heat gun

I have the Ridgid butane gun: RIDGID 18V Lithium-Ion Butane Cordless Heat Gun (Tool Only) | The Home Depot Canada

It works well, though it does rely on butane to fuel it.  It heats up quickly due to that, though, and has a cool down feature that makes it safe to the touch a few seconds after turning it off.

Only one brand is specialist in cordless heat guns and hot glue guns and that is Steinel. They have two models which work with Metabo LiHD batteries. They also make for Metabo as well. They have a straight (in-line) heat gun that works with Bosch batteries, too. Some of these products were listed in American website Acmetools Here is a link to get an idea of what they look like.
