The depth gauge is fine if you put 2 1/2 nails in the gun it will only set the nail less then 3/4 inch in and then I have to release the nose of the gun. If I fire the gun with no nails in slide you can see the drive pin mark on the wood. If I use 1 1/4 nail one out of maybe five nails will sink. Thank you J.D.
