Freedom_Now
I am looking at getting my first cordless drill. Based on past experience and conversations with an individual who used to do quality control for products made for an American company in Mexico, I am not comfortable with the quality of many products coming out of Mexico. Is the DCD760KL made in the USA? If not are there similar DeWalt drills made in the USA or somewhere other than Mexico?

KDamericano
I'm not sure if there are any cordless tools made in the USA, at least not in the main construction brands (I'm pretty sure Snap-On makes a cordless drill in the US). Maybe your research will turn up something
ToolGeek
Manufacturing today is done mostly at plant's owned and operated by StanleyBlack&Decker. Tool's are made to specific standards regulated by the company regardless of flag it's made under. Profit's on those tool's made come back to the USA, as well as high paying job's in a lot of fields. Sure we are losing manufacturing jobs, but almost every aspect of high paying corporate, engineer, design, and sales job's stay here. Just my 2 cent's.
