akraemer1 Posted September 1, 2012 Report Posted September 1, 2012 Does anyone know of any plans for the release of a 20V Pivot reciprocating saw? All of my other tools are the 20V line and it would not make sense for me to purchase different batteries. Please let me know your thoughts...
PKDEWALT Posted September 3, 2012 Report Posted September 3, 2012 Depending on what type of work you do the 12v tools are really nice and light weight, they have plenty of power. I have the pivoting 12v saw and it is nice for tight places. Also the 12v batteries would use the same charger as your 20v tools.
nathan hurst Posted March 23, 2013 Report Posted March 23, 2013 I have the 12v and 20v saw and the 12 is only good for sheetrock plastic pipe and conduit (emt copper ect...) If u need to cut decking notch 2x4 2x6 and stuff of that nature the 20v is the way to go. The 12v just doesnt have the power but it is excellent for light duty work
