KoleckeINC
Three ub6120 batteries(40$)on ebay can be wired to an old dead 18v xrp battery with a cord to make a 12AH sla battery superpack. I've been cutting 2" galvanized drain pipe with it no problems. To make room for the cord in the battery I just removed three cells, drilled a hole in it. pushed a tool cord with a knot on the end through. wired it up black to black white to white wire. I left the center post grounded to black so superpack will recharge with oem charger. easy money, all day. I think this pack would be great for those xrp tools that eat juice like grinders, cut offs, hammer drills and sawzalls. But i'm only running the saw. I had a spare saw i'm running it on exclusively. So far I love it. Wish I had the tire gun...Dewalt should make some sort of work stand with a bigger 18v backup battery to run a radio or various tools for whatever if power is out or a cord is not an option IE 44th floor of an unfinished building. I woulda bought that. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=352337698220840&set=a.100208680100411.99.100003338370265&type=1&relevant_count=
kanxrus
That's quite the setup you have there! Do you actually use this setup, or was this just for fun?
