12v Impact Driver

So the most strenuous task i do with my impact is put in 3/8th lagbolts into roofs to mount Satellite Dish Masts. I started with the ridgid x4 impact, then the fuel m12 impact then the brushed m12 impact then moved to the brushed dewalt 20v impact (which i have given to  a friend). Most days all the torque i needed was in the fuel m12 impact which is great because it makes my toolbelt alot lighter. 

 

So the question is, do any of you have experience with the ridigid 12v impact which is rated at (1100 inch pounds torque) ? because i would rather buy that with the 3 led's (work at night often) than repurchasing a m12 fuel impact for a higher price (1200 inch pounds torque). 

 

Second question is , does anyone have a strong opinion on balance and weight of dewalth compact 20v impact vs ridgid 12v impact vs m12 fuel impact?

I'm a big Milwaukee fan but the Ridgid is a good value and I do like the 3 led lights.The one thing is the Milwaukee has more rpm's  2650 verses 2000 the Ridgid so the Milwaukee will drive the lags faster. That's one complaint with Milwaukee with the Fuel updates they didn't change up where they positioned the led lights on the tools. Dewalt Moved the led's on the base of their drills for their new brushless tools and they have had the 3ring led lights on the Dewalt Impacts from when they launched the 20v max line. The Dewalt compact impact just has slightly better spec's than the M12 Fuel  it has 1400 inch pounds of torque and 2,800 rpm but its a much larger tool. It depends on what you really want.

I'm getting confused here, why is the term 'compact' being used?

 

also, surely no 12V (even the FUEL) is really going to be close in real world performance to a great 18v impact like any of Dewalts 20V impacts? The DCF895 drove the same amount of lags in the same time as the 18V FUEL in the TIA tool fight, and there's not a great deal of difference in power with the 885...

Just put of curiosity...and don't kill me my fellow Reds, why aren't you considering the Dewalt 12v Max Impactor? I'd go Milwaukee but that's because I'm biased and it sounds like you are comparing the other two to the 20v system you had. DR is dead on about the light too, they should've addressed that in the Fuel.

haha i have no idea, i guess i get a kick out of trying them all out,

 the reason im comparing them to the 20v line is my work is fairly light duty, 3/8th lags for the baseplate of the dish mast is the most strenuous work i put them through, other than occasionally driving a 5/8th spade bit through a top plate for an interior wall drop.
