usa Posted October 27, 2007 Report Share Posted October 27, 2007 I had the same problem. I ended up taking a flat head and a hammer. I put the flat head right below the chuck and banged on it to move it down. I then had the take a vice and pull the bit out. I ended up putting some lub in the sleeve and never had a problem again.
