DR99
Unless they are having you use some amazing synthetic I just don't see how they can stand by this. I wouldn't change as often maybe, but I only change the oil once a season anyway right now.
Alan m
I don't understand. just a gimmick.changing the oil is easy and fast
DR99
Well Briggs engines have been running for years without adding oil or oil changes. People are bad with cars you can imagine how bad they are with lawn equipment. Taking it to a small engine shop people won't do either they probably want 70 dollars to do an oil change. comp56
not to mention they don't have much oil to start with
Bremon
"Just check and add". It's so "efficient" that it burns the old stuff out.
DR99
Briggs is really pushing to make gas powered engines more convenient they are worried about the battery powered tools now. Going cordless is a valid option for a bunch of people now it wasn't before for the most part. Briggs has a cordless starter deal.
Alan m
i think the end is in sight for small scale garden equipment.within a year or 2 I think the batteries tech will allow serious run time
Samuel L.
I just realized my parents lawn mover has never had a oil change ever since it was bought, guess that engine must be the same just 6 years older.
